The attractive town house is located in the quiet, narrow cobbled-streets of the historical old town in the centre of Cascais. Internet facilities are available at the house, please check with the owner. It is only a very short walk to the beaches (100 metres!), parks, marina and yacht club, shops, good bars and restaurants and to the vibrant town centre of Cascais. The train station, Cascais-Estoril-Lisbon (32 mins), is again just a few mins walk from the house. A car is not necessary! Within a short drive are 8 superb golf courses; the historic town of Sintra (classified as a World Heritage Site); the beautiful Guincho coast line with its' sandy beaches and rocky coves, and Estoril, with more beaches and the biggest Casino in Europe is just a 15 min walk along the beach!

30 kms from Lisbon International Airport. A taxi transfer service can be arranged from the airport to the house.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beach in the Bay of Cascais is 200m from the house, other beaches on the Cascais/Estoril coast are within easy walking distance. A few mins drive away is the magnificent, spectacular Guincho coastline, with sandy beaches and rocky coves.
Golf
There are 8 excellent golf courses within a 20 min drive from Cascais.
Travel
Nearest airport is Lisbon International Airport - some 38k from Cascais. If you are staying in Cascais a car is not required. The train station, some 7 mins walk, takes you into Lisbon (32 mins) via Estoril, in clean, modern air conditioned trains - which are not expensive & always on time!
Further details
Cascais is a very popular holiday destination with many shops, restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and prices! The town has everything you would need. The nearest shop is some 5m from the house.
