It is situated in a genuinely farming village only 15 minutes away by car from Cascais, and 20 from Sintra, two important touristic towns. But nearer there are tennis and golf facilities and beaches. The village, Azoia,which has some excellent restaurants, is situated in the foothills of the wooded Serra de Sintra. It is an area of castles and palaces, quaint old towns, high cliffs sandy beaches and beautiful, hilly countryside.
