Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. The villa is available from 3pm and departure by 10am to enable the maids to clean thoroughly. Suitcases may be left in hallway if required.

Notes on accommodation
A comfortable family home which remains cool in the summer; the generous overhangs around the house give welcome shade. It is a popular villa and guests return year after year to enjoy the peaceful situation which is within easy walking distance of the beach, local shops and restaurants.
Accessibility
The ground floor is fully wheelchair accessible with extra wide doors and easy access to the terraces and garden. The downstairs bathroom includes a large, wheel-in shower and grab rails and a pull down seat. There is a pull down grab rail by the WC. Care can be provided and quoted for upon request.
Outside
South facing 10x5 private pool surrounded by non-slip safety tiles. Broad terraces with shaded areas and walled and gated garden. Barbecue and 8 sun loungers. Outside wooden dining table and chairs for al fresco dining.
Coast/Beach
5 mins walk to Porto de Mos beach, one of the nicest beaches on the Western Algarve. Perfect swimming and boating conditions and choice of beachside restaurants.
Golf
Close to the excellent Boa Vista golf course and 30 mins from numerous other championship courses.
Travel
Faro airport is a 50 mins drive away. Car hire is not essential but it would be a shame not to explore for at least part of your holiday.
Distances
Local shops, restaurants and mini markets are within easy walking distance. The medieval walled town of Lagos, which sits on a hillside overlooking the harbour and impressive new Marina, is a approx a mile away. It is a very pleasant 20 mins walk and a superb selection of shops, markets, restaurants and museums can be found there. Boating trips and water sports can be arranged at the harbour.
Further details
Although historic and quaint, Lagos has all the facilities of the modern age, such as plenty of internet cafes, modern banks and cash machines.
Booking notes
A 25% non-refundable booking deposit is required. The full balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival, along with a separate £300 security deposit cheque which will be returned to you at the end of your stay, subject to no damage to the property and villa left in tidy state without requiring more than regular maid service.
