Car hire is recommended and can be arranged by owner if required. There is however a good local bus route directly outside the house.

Silves the ancient Moorish town is about 10 minutes by car. The Monchique mountains are about half an hour's drive away.

Casa Millwood has 2 apartments, at ground floor level, with their own entrances, making them self-contained and private. The house is in a Portuguese area, away from the main tourist resorts, but only 20 mins from the beach. Faro airport is 30-40minutes to the east, the Spanish border is an hour away and ideal for a day trip. The beautiful Monchique mountains are 0.5 hour to the north and Cape Saint Vincent of Vasco de Gamma fame is about 1.5 hours to the west.
Casa Millwood sits in 0.5 acre of land containing a large, private swimming pool and walled barbecue area, car parking, bird aviary and fish pond. The owner lives on site and will be there by arrangement to assist you to get the best out of your Algarve experience.
Booking notes
A 25% deposit is required, the balance payable 4 weeks before arrival. Or, for last minute bookings payment by arrangement. A returnable deposit of £100 is required as security against damages and this will be requested in cash.
