You are within 10 minutes of the Ria Formosa, 25 minutes from Faro Airport, Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago golf courses, half an hour to Spain and one hour will take you to almost anywhere in the Algarve.

Bathrooms: Family bathroom with bath/shower over, WC, sink/lighted dressing mirror over and bidet.
Master en-suite with double shower, WC, sink/lighted dressing mirror over and bidet.
Kitchen: The newly fully fitted kitchen has a double sink drainer with lovely granite surround and worktops. There is a washing machine, dishwasher, 2 fridges, freezer, cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, lots of cutlery and cups, glasses etc.
Living Rooms: Spacious open plan lounge/dining area with wood burner fireplace, Sky/Digital TV, with DVD and CD players. Walk through the lounge area and sliding doors to the amply furnished pool area.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
The villa has fresh linen and towels on arrival and changed weekly. The pool is cleaned and water tested twice a week, please bring your own beach towels. Richard and Treasa, our managers are very helpful and they know the best places to visit.

 

Notes on accommodation
The villa is particularly suitable for children as the pool area is walled and gated. As with a villa in large grounds the pool area, sun terrace and master bedroom terrace offers complete privacy. All openings have Mosquito netting so the louvre shutters can be locked at night leaving the windows open to keep the villa cool when necessary.

Outside
The new pool is 8x4m with Roman steps gently sloping from 3ft - 6ft in the deep end, there is outside shower, ample poolside furniture and covered terrace for alfresco dining. Sliding doors from the master bedroom to a spacious sun terrace with table and chairs enjoying distant sea views and wonderful sunsets.

Coast/Beach
Our local Beach Island of Fuzeta (7km) is one of the best in the Algarve and a 'Must' day out. The Islands of Culattra, Armona and Farol can be reached by Olhao (7km) and the little known beach of Faro Island is worth a visit. For painters, photographers, and bird watchers, the Rio Formosa Nature Reserve (8km) is rich in bird and plant life... an opportunity not to be missed. Water taxi and small boat trips are plentiful.

Golf
Not only has the Algarve the best golfing climate in Europe it also has some of the best courses and facilities. To the West, Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo courses are within 20 mins of the villa and Vilamoura a further 15 mins further on. To the East, Benamor, Quinta de Cima and the Quinta de Ria are within 30 mins and Castro Marim a further 15 mins on. If all you want is a flick, in Moncarapacho there is a new Par 3 course and within 4km’s is a 3 hole, pitch and putt (9 tees) with driving range, chipping areas and putting green and truly superb facilities can be enjoyed by all of the family.

Travel
Faro Airport 25 mins. Car hire is recommended.

Further details
There is an information pack at the villa detailing beaches, bars/restaurants, golf courses, water parks (swim with the dolphins), places of interest etc. Our small market town of Moncarapacho has a beautiful square where you can enjoy a meal and a drink or two with the locals, its bars and restaurants serve excellent and reasonably priced food (It is much cheaper than to the west of Faro). Here you will also find banks, post office, chemist, doctors, 3-4 mini markets and a large supermarket. We have a number of excellent markets nearby (a detailed list will be in the villa) where you can pick up some real bargains. On the first Sunday of the month, it is in our local village of Moncarapacho. There is also an interesting car-boot near the beach of Fuzeta where you will find some unusual items. Ayamonte, 35 mins (the Spanish border) town has a similar market every Saturday. Tourist resort towns with entertainment, bars, restaurants and casinos only a 15 - 40 mine drive away (depending which town you would like to visit). Finally, For those of you who do not want to just stay on the beach or by the pool and want to see more of the original Algarve then a circular drive through Moncarapacho, Estói, Olhão and Tavira is well worth doing. Again with the A22 link this makes a good half day visit.

Booking notes
A deposit of 25% is required on booking with the balance due 8 weeks before departure. A breakages deposit of £100 (payable with your balance) is required and totally refundable at the end of your holiday.
