The 2 bedroom cottage is situated very conveniently only 600m from the centre of Santa Barbara de Nexe. Pauleenas mini market (Daily English Newspaers). A Church, estate agents, and a good choice of restaurants, cafes and bars. Also a Bank, Chemist and post office. 5 miles west is the bustling market town of Loule for fresh fish and all the fresh fruit and vegetables of the region. And artisan goods e.g. wicker baskets and hand painted pottery. 12 kms south to Faro Island or the Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo resorts, great beaches and famous golf courses.

| Other: | Baby equipment can be supplied as an extra. Cot with linen, highchair, pushchair, car-seat, baby relax seat. From £25 per week. Saves bringing any of that stuff with you. Baby sitting/child minding available day time and evening from €8 per hour neg. |

Bedlinen and towels are changed weekly along with a thorough clean through. (Please bring your own beach towels) Daily maid service, Elderly persons assistance (Experienced nursing home auxiliary) and baby sitting on request from €8-€25 an hour negotiable |

Notes on accommodation
A fairly typical older Portuguese cottage of quite generous proportions. Has been in our family for forty years and is pretty much as was. High cane ceilings. Thick cool walls. Well furnished, still having the feel of a family home.
Outside
First thing outside that I should draw your attention to is; *two fish ponds. Perhaps not suitable for children of certain ages*. The living room door leads you out to a cobbled terrace with a built in B-B-Q at the end. The uninterupted panoramic view to the coast 12km away. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Nighttime lights twinkle all along the coast. Ten steps down to the private secluded pool area and terrace with sun beds, sunshades, a table and chairs.
Coast/Beach
The coast is 15km drive.
Travel
The airport is 12km. Car hire is recommended but not absolutely essential as there is a limited bus service passing through Santa Barbara between Loulé and Historic Faro, the capital of the Algarve.
Booking notes
£150 - £250 deposit per week booked with full payment no later than 6 weeks before your arrival date. At the time of full payment a refundable deposit of £150 per holiday is requested this will be held against damage breakages and excess cleaning to be refunded the week following your holiday.
