Located only a 5 mins stroll to the beach, shops and restaurants, and only 3.5km from Tavira and 35 mins drive from Faro airport. The apartment is set in the quiet residential development of Quinta de Gomeria. Cabanas is a quaint fishing village with intruiging lanes of Portuguese restaurants and shops. The sandy beach is magnificent, and for those who prefer to sample the 'real Algarve' without sacrificing the more attractive elements of tourism - the beaches, good restaurants, markets, history and golf, look no further than this recently built apartment.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds.
A discount of 10% is available if only 2 persons renting and is also available for winter lets subject to a minimum rental period of 1 month. Unless previously agreed, these long term winter lets do not include the cost of utilities.
Air-conditioning/heating available at £3 per day.

This is flexible, but you will be required to vacate by 10.00 unless by prior agreement.

Bedrooms: Our apartment has 2 twin bedrooms with air-conditioning, which also provides heating along with portable radiators for the cooler months. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, dressing tables with mirrors and bedside tables. A hairdryer is also provided.
Bathrooms: The modern bathroom is fitted with bath/shower, hand basin with illuminated mirror above and cupboard below, WC and bidet.
Kitchen: The large modern kitchen is fully equipped and has gas cooker, oven, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and leads onto the largest sunny south facing terrace with pool view.
Living Rooms: The large sunny lounge/dining room provides all the comforts of home, is air conditioned and has a sofa and chaise-longue, dining table with 6 chairs, bean bag, radio/CD/mp3 player, UK satalite TV with DVD/video and a selection of video's DVD's and CD's.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Fresh bedlinen and bathroom towels are provided weekly and the apartment can be cleaned once a week. With future guests comfort in mind, pets are not allowed. Smoking is only permitted on the terraces. A welcome pack can be provided on request.

Outside
The large main terrace (25x20FT) has a built-in BBQ, sun loungers, dining table with 6 chairs and parasol, ideal for alfresco dining. The 2nd terrace (14x12FT) is located on the other side of the apartment, and has a bistro table and chairs and access to the rooftop terrace (16x14FT), where there is yet another bistro table and chairs. This is perfect for stargazing with a nightcap. Having 3 terraces all with sea views provides you with the option of either sunny or shaded areas to suit your needs.

Golf
There are 5 excellent courses within easy reach of the apartment making it especially suitable for golfing holidays. The nearest, Benamor is a 3 min drive from the apartment and is an 18 hole, Par 71, 5500m. It is friendly to all playing levels as many of the par 4s on the front 9 are relatively short. Water comes into play on the 10th, 13th & 17th, finishing with a long par 5 with views of a pretty Algarvian church. Quinta da Ria is a 10 min drive, also 18 holes, but a Par 72, 6,110m. It has stunning views of the sea and mountains. Quinta da Cima is again a 10 min drive away with 18 holes, Par 72, 6256m this time. Castro Marim is a little further, a 20 min drive and an 18 hole, Par 71, 5265m. A challenging course for golfers of all standards. Colina Verde the 9 hole Par 3 1145m is again a 20 minute drive. There are more courses to the west of Faro including Villamoura, and also many more courses just across the border in Spain.

Booking notes
Bookings made more than 8 weeks in advance require a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the cost, otherwise full payment is due immediately. If the booking is cancelled up to 4 weeks before departure, all money paid, except for the deposit will be refunded. If cancellations are within the last 4 weeks of departure, the above sum will be only be refunded if the apartment can be re-let for the same period. A £200 damage deposit is required with the final payment.

"This is our 6th visit to the Algarve. We have stayed in some really nice apartments and once splashed out on a detached villa with private pool, but we enjoyed this accommodation the most. It's on the top floor, so gets lots of light and the layout really works well. The spacious outdoor terraces were fabulous - tons of space for sunbathing, dining, barbecuing or just lazing around and a view of the sea from each one. Inside the apartment is spacious, modern & spotlessly clean. There is a good selection of restaurants and enough small supermarkets, a butchers & bakers to ensure that your shopping can be done in the village. The stunning beach is accessible by boat from the village waterfront and Tavira is a short journey away by train or bus and is the one of Portugal's loveliest towns. We had a wonderful holiday in Cabanas and the quality of this accommodation greatly contributed to our enjoyment" Lesley Whyte, Clydebank, Scotland.
