Furnished in a pleasing mix of English and Portuguese, the cottages are an ideal holiday retreat for couples, small groups and families alike. Arabella cottage can sleep up to 5 people while Bracken cottage has space for up to 6 in comfort. They can be rented individually or together to accommodate larger groups of up to 11 people. With air conditioned bedrooms for the summer, and heating for the winter, the cottages provide comfort throughout all seasons. The cottages share a swimming pool, gardens and spectacular views to the coast, overlooking citrus groves and farmland in the valley below.

Bracken Cottage (2 Bedrooms, Sleeps 4/6)

Open plan Lounge/Dining/Kitchen with an open log fire and large comfortable sofas, (one of which is a large sofa/bed to cope with the slightly larger parties). The two french windows open onto their own terrace alongside the pool. The main bedroom has the special feature of a Craftmatic Orthopaedic double bed, the second bedroom has twin beds. The shared bathroom has all the normal facilities with bidet and over-bath shower, and the cottage has a separate shower room/wc. The spacious kitchen area is fully equipped and very modern. Entertainments are provided with a BBC Satellite system with DVD and a CD music centre. Games and books to fill the quieter moments. |

Notes on accommodation
All bedrooms are fully air conditioned, cooling and heating to provide comfort all year round.
The cottages are tastefully decorated and furnished in a comfortable blend of English and Portuguese styles.
Outside
Each cottage has its own private terrace with outdoor furniture and barbecue. The shared swimming pool is approximately 8 meters by 4 meters and the maximum depth is 1.60 meters giving lots of safe play area. The pool area is secured by gates to help ensure the safety of your little ones.
Coast/Beach
The superb beaches at the coast near Albufeira are no more than 20 minutes away with many others stretching for miles both to the East and West of the Algarve.
Golf
Bahlia Golf course in Albufeira 20 mins drive, also Vilamoura is 30mins away with a variety of courses.
Travel
Car hire is essential as we are in the heart of the Algarve countryside but within easy reach of all main areas.
The airport at Faro is approx 40 mins drive with good access to the superb new Algarve roadways.
Distances
Our nearest town is Sao Bartolomeu de Messines, 2 kilometers, with good local shops and its own market for daily fresh fruit, vegetables and fish. Silves is a slightly longer drive at 15 kilometers with its historic Castle and Cathedral. Albufeira, the tourist heart of the Algarve abounds with shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs and is only 20 minutes drive. The area boasts a variety of Water Parks and Zoos including the famous Zoomarine where you can swim with the Dolphins.
Further details
The cottages are surrounded by well tended farmland where you can see many of the local fruit, nut and citrus groves. The area is especially good for bird watching (with regularly seen Eagles in the sky over the cottages) and country walks. Many restaurants and bars are to be found only a short distance away, offering simple local dishes to full International Cuisine.
Booking notes
A deposit of 20% is required at the time of confirmation with the full balance due not less than Eight weeks before the date of your holiday.
Payment for your holiday can be by personal cheque or by Credit Card using our Paypal facility, (membership of Paypal is not required).
We can also assist with the reservation of your hire car using one of our local agents.
