Coast/Beach
The nearest beach, Centianes, is just 10 mins walk away, and there are many more within a 5 min drive. All are very clean and have good swimming, and most have excellent cafes and restaurants.
Golf
Val de Milho (9 hole) course is 5 mins away. Gramacho and Pinta (each 18 hole) courses are 15 mins away. Numerous other courses within 45-60 mins drive.
Travel
The nearest airport is Faro, a 45 min drive. Car hire is not essential, as Rocha Brava offers a free minibus service to nearby Carvoeiro. Taxi service is also reasonably priced.
Distances
Carvoeiro is 5 mins drive (20 mins walk) and the town of Lagoa is 10 mins drive inland.
Further details
The Rocha Brava complex offers a peaceful, complete holiday atmosphere with tennis club, gym, restaurant, bar, 3 pools, beautiful gardens and shops. There are several excellent but affordable restaurants within walking distance, and many more in Carvoeiro. Water Parks are within a short drive, as are the historic towns of Silves, Monchique, Lagos and Portimao.
