Outside
Property is in a secluded corner of the shared grounds, beautifully landscaped and maintained. French doors from the lounge lead onto the outside terrace with wooden dining table and 6 chairs, 2 loungers and brick built BBQ. Secluded lawned area around the house, with mature landscaping. Only yards from one of three large heated swimming pools (April - October) with loungers and umbrellas for guests use. Cobbled streets, parking spaces, and access via security controlled gates.
Coast/Beach
Beautiful unspoilt beach within 3 minutes drive, or 15 minute walk. Miles of fine sand, great surf, and never crowded. Lifeguard on duty during high season. Other beaches nearby, the calm waters, restaurants and beach cafes at Baleal are particularly popular. There is also a lagoon at Obidos for swimming, windsurfing or sailing. Two body boards are for guests use.
Golf
Situated on the renowned Praia d'el Rey Golf Course, voted No. 1 in Portugal, 13th in Europe, voted 'Golf resort of the year' in 2007 by Int. Assoc. of Golf Tour Operators. Spectacular 9 holes links, 9 holes pine forest. 400 yards from the golf club house (which offers excellent choice of food). Walk to the 1st tee, or the golf practice area. Lessons available. Year round golfing climate. Reduced green fees can be arranged.
Travel
50 minute drive from Lisbon airport. Easy motorway connection. 2 hours from Porto, 3 hours from Faro. Easyjet routes from Luton, Liverpool and Gatwick (new for 2008!) also Monarch TAP and British Airways.
Distances
The picturesque, medieval town of Obidos with narrow cobbled streets, bars and restaurants is only 15 minutes away. 15 mins to Peniche, here you can take a boat trip to the Berlenga Islands, a national nature reserve. The lively town of Caldas da Rainha is 20 mins away good selection of shops, local produce markets, restaurants and museums.

Tennis Centre with 7 courts, coaching available. Windsurfing and sailing at nearby lagoon. Surfing. There is a small supermarket on the resort. Further supermakets are a 10 minute drive. Restaurant in golf club house is excellent (they also offer take-out), also 2 restautants at the hotel. Traditional Portuguese restaurants in Obidos, Peniche, Caldas da Rainha. Cash machine at club house.
