Porches - Villa Mariana Do Sol. Sleeps 16. Arrival day Thursday. Heated Swimming Pool, Table Tennis, Air Conditioning. Car essential. 6 bedrooms. 3 bathrooms. -2 shower rooms. This relatively new villa has been impeccably decorated and furnished. Each bedroom has its own colour scheme with co-ordinating soft furnishings and all the bathrooms have corner baths. The architecture is attractive and interesting with curved walls and an impressive circular entrance hall. The modern Kitchen is very well equipped with two enormous Fridge/Freezers and a built in cooker. The sitting room is well furnished with a plush, curved Sofa - a lovely Dining Suite and a wood burning Stove. There are mosquito nets on all doors and windows. The Villa is on a large plot of land and is close to the village of 'Porches' and Armação de Pêra with good Restaurants, Bars and a long sandy beach. It is also a short drive from the lively resort of Praia do Carvoeiro. More pictures on our website (see below).

Changeover day
Changeover day is usually Thursday however, alternative arrangements are possible, so please make the request and we will do all we can to accommodate your specific requirement.

Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning £150 - Pool Heating £150 per week - Two Double Bedrooms are located on the lower ground floor providing a private facility for perhaps a family unit that is part of the booking. There is also a Double Bed Settee located in one of the Double Bedrooms supporting accommodation for a total of up to 6 persons if required, providing total accommodation for up to 16 persons.
As a consequence of 4 bedrooms and all the main facilities being located on the ground floor - The Villa is particularly Child Friendly and Wheelchair Friendly.
Accessibility
The Swimming Pool, Pool Terrace, Kitchen and all the main facilities are also located on the ground floor and can be accessed from the Main Villa Entrance.
Outside
The Swimming Pool Heating System includes a Fitted Heat Retention Cover. As a consequence, Swimming is possible all year round. The Villa has two mobile Webber BBQ's with all the neccessary BBQ equipment. The advantage of the Webber BBQ's are that you can have a BBQ anywhere you wish. Outside dining facilities are located on both the Pool Terrace and on the Kitchen Terrace. On the Kitchen Terrace there is a large very attractive Marquee that provides the necessary shade from the sun when dining during the day and a very special location for dining at night.
The Marquee is illuminated at night providing a very special location for those very late and warm evenings.
An additional Shower Facility is located on the Pool Terrace. The Shower Water might be cold but is very refreshing on a hot summers day.
Coast/Beach
The Villa is located just outside the picturesque Village of Porches where many Restaurants and Bars are located for those long summer evenings with friends. The town and beaches of Armcao De Pera is just a few minutes away by car towards the coast road.
The picture-postcard village of Porches lies just off the EN125 main road, midway between Alcantarilha and Lagoa. The area is noted for its classic white regional-style houses punctuated with striking decorated chimneys.
Golf
Portugal, and in particular, the Algarve, is renowned for its magnificent Golf Courses which is why it is considered a golfer's paradise. There are many courses within easy reach of Villa Marianna such as The Pinta and The Gramacho courses at neighbouring Carvoeiro. There's also the championship course of Penina just a ten minute drive away.
Keen golfers' find that the location of this Villa ideal to combine both a beach and golfing holiday and it also works well for partners and families who do not participate in the sport.
Special interest holidays
Diving, fishing, horse riding, paragliding, sailing, tennis, water skiing and windsurfing are all pursuits that are available in close proximity to the villa.

Security deposit required is 25% Deposit on booking. The balance to be paid 12 weeks before arrival. A £400 Villa Damage Security Deposit is required with the final payment. Please Note that the Villa Damage Secuirty Deposit will be refunded within 7 days of your departure providing no damage has occurred.
