Beautiful restored typical Algarvian Formhouse.Once a delightful family home, a two storey villa has retained a homely atmosphere. Situated in a peaceful location, with outstanding views of the surrounding areas (Faro, Quarteira, Almancil and the sea), it is quiet and tranquil without being totally isolated. The villa has excellent facilities and is comfortable, spacious, and decorated in an authentic rustic style. Rooms are furnished to a high standard and the lounge has lovely French doors that lead on to an attractive shady area and to the lovely garden, good sized swinming pool, with a coverd barbecue area and children´s swing and slide shaded by olive tree. The beach resorts of Vale do Lobo and Vilamoura are about a 10m drive making this villa a great base for a larger group who want plenty of choice of activities and spacious property. The villa is close to plenty of very good restaurants and supermarkets.

Changeover day is preferred on Saturdays in the high Season , and in the low and medium Season it is flexible.I Rent my villa for the New Year from the 29/11/11 until the 02/01/12.

Notes on accommodation
Villa is very suitable for children due to its spacious grounds and it also has an outdoor play area with swings, slide and a wood-house for children to play.There are 3 extra beds available at an extra cost of 160€ per week.There are fans in all rooms.The thick stone walls and huge flastone floors ensure the interior cool,even in the hottest months. PS. To the rear of the property is a small annex apartment with its own private driveway and entrance, the owners unobtrusive mayde lives there and she cleans the villa and takes kerr of the property but she does not intrudes on the enjoyment of the guests or privacy of this splendid villa. Maid service is 2 ,3 our 5 times per week that depends what you have agreed with the owner (and the size of the group ).Linen is changed one time a week and towels are changed twice a week.
Outside
Large shaded terraces with 2 large tables and chairs, ideal for meals outside with covered barbecue area and children´s swing and slide shaded by a large olive tree and a wood house for children to play, yet offers a superb elevated position in substantial grounds with views to Faro, Quarteira and the sea. The property has a superb 12m pool and a beautiful garden with lovely trees. Sunbeds with cushions and parasols provided.
Coast/Beach
Vale do Lobo Beach - 6 kms from villa, lovely beach with shops, restaruants and bars close by.
Quinta do Lago Beach - 7 kms from villa, is a lovely beach which is surrounded by the natural reserve of Ria Formosa home to many birds and wild life.
Vale do Garrao - 6 kms from villa, lovely beach with pine cliffs over looking beach, serviced by good restaurants and bars, aquatic sports available on the beach.

There are several water-parks in the area, Aquashow is one that is about 5 kms from the villa it has bird shows, parrot shows and a gigantic wave pool.
Go-karting in Almancil.
Boat trips, fishing and diving in the Marina of Vilamoura
8 kms from the villa.
Zoomarine family park with marine world, dolphines, seal lions and parrot shows. You can also swim with the dolphines, 25 kms from villa.
Horse ridding stables close by in Vale de Eguas, 5 minutes drive.
Historical interests such as the town of Estoi with it's Roman ruins and Palace is 12 kms distance.

Booking notes
When booking please give name, address, telephone numbers, number of party and dates required. A non returnable deposit of 50% will be payable at time of booking, the balance payable no later then 8 weeks prior to arrival. Last minute Booking has to be payed the full amount. The owner request a break deposit at the arrival to the villa and will be return after the departure if nothing is broken and damage in the Villa.
