Casa Cuba is a luxury link villa. It is located on the peaceful upmarket development of Clube Golfemar, and alongside Vale de Milho Golf Course. It is situated 2km East of Carvoeiro and 40 minutes drive from Faro. The villa is single storey with level access, and is South facing with magnificent views over the Atlantic Coast. The accommodation comprises, two bedrooms and two bathrooms both en-suite,a luxury fitted kitchen, and a lounge/dining room with patio doors leading to a sun terrace and private gardens facing the sea. The villa has a large roof terrace with magnificent panoramic views of the coast. On site there is a superb communal swimming pool and a childrens pool. Nearby are shops, bar/restaurants and beaches.

Notes on prices
Prices are per week for the villa, and are inclusive of electricity, bed linen, towels and maid service on a regular basis. The price includes for a maximum occupancy of 4 persons. An additional infant can be accommodated. Cots and highchairs are available at an extra charge of £14 per week per item.
Changeover day
Saturdays from June to September. Any day at other times.
Check in time is 2pm - Check out time is 10am.

Notes on accommodation
The Villa is protected by a security alarm system and electric roller shutters to all windows, which in addition to keeping the property secure, also keeps the villa cool during the day and ventilated during the night. Room fans are provided in both bedrooms and the lounge. The property is double glazed throughout, and there is a log burning fire for those cooler evenings. There are dimmer switches on all lights and there is a safe in Bedroom 1. Telephone provided for local calls. Both the roof terrace and patio is provided with outside lighting.
This is a non-smoking Villa, but ash trays are provided for use on the patio.
Accessibility
The Villa has level access to the door at the front, from the pavement. There are no steps inside the Villa or onto the rear patio. There is ample car parking space.
Outside
The lounge and main bedroom patio doors lead out onto a spacious partly shaded sun terrace. The Villa is fronted with a small planted gardened area and overlooks tropical gardens with the ocean clearly visible in the background. There is an outside table, chairs and parasol,BBQ and two sunbeds.
The spacious roof terrace has all day sun, table and chairs, sunbeds and a parasol is also provided.
Coast/Beach
The Villa is situated near to some stunning beaches with the nearest,Centianes and Carvalho being approx 15 minutes walk away. Within 5 minutes by car are Praia de Marina, Bengil,and Albandera beaches. Most providing restaurants/bars in summer. Further afield there are many more beautiful beaches to visit providing windsurfing, waterskiing, jet skiing etc.
The local coastline is spectacular and offers some of the best cliff walks in the Algarve with stunning views.
Golf
Golfemar is situated centrally to most of the best courses in the Algarve, therefore offering an excellent base for golfers. Vale de Milho 9 hole par 3 course is on site. The Nick Price/David Leadbetter, Pestana Golf Resort (Vale de Pinta and Gramacho) is 10 minutes drive. The Henry Cotton Penina and Alto Club Championship Courses, Salgados Links, Palmares and the new Golfe De Morgardo courses are all within a 20 minuite drive. The Vilamoura Courses are approx 30 mins drive away.
Discounted green fees and special packages are available on many courses.
Travel
Clube Golfemar is approx. 65km from Faro Airport an easy 40 minute drive along the toll free coastal motorway.
Car Hire is not essential, but is recommended in order to visit the many interesting places around the coast, and inland to the mountains.
If you require a Hire Car we can recommend an excellent local company offering good value for money.
Distances
There are several bars/restaurants, a small mini-market,and the ever popular Rocha Brava complex within 5 minutes walk of the property, where tennis courts and a gym are available for hire. Carvoeiro is 5 minutes by car, or there is a bus service from the bottom of the road.The Intermache Hypermarket at Lagoa is approx. 7 minutes by car.
There is a tennis club at Carvoeiro where heoliday membership can be taken out.
Further details
Carvoeiro is now a cosmopolitan resort, but its beauty has not changed, and is in one of the most picturesque patches of the Algarve. It has an abundance of bars, restaurants, shops and boutiques. There are also banks and cash withdrawal machines.
Lagoa, amidst land planted with orange groves and almond trees, is a relaxed town with a stately church. It is best known for its wine,the Vinade Casa, made in the local co-op adega.
Two large Waterparks are within a 10 minutes drive, and Zoomarine and Algarve Shopping Complex, near Albufeira with its many designer clothes boutiques and large stores are just 20 minutes drive.
The Algarve is a mecca for bird-watchers. It is an important staging post for migrating birds, and many different species can be found along the coast and around the wetland areas.
Within 1hrs drive you can be in the beautiful Mountain Spa Town of Monchique.

To make a reservation a non-refundable deposit of £100 per week will secure your booking. The Balance is required 8 weeks prior to departure.
A security deposit of £100 is required to cover any breakages or damage. This is fully refundable providing no damage has occurred.
Guests should make sure that they have made adequate provision for insurance cover in the event of cancellation.
