Quinta da Eira is a beautifully renovated, old village property in a quiet location. It still has many original features - pretty wooden doors, panelling and ceiling fans and has been converted into 5 separate villas and a small flat. It has a beautiful garden with a large swimming pool with a high wall on one side and open country on the other. There is an outside eating area with a palm fronded roof for shade, a built in barbecue and also 2 mobile barbecues. It is 6 miles from the sea at Vilamoura and 20 minutes drive from Faro airport. Boliquieme has restaurant/bars, bank, chemist and a mini market. Loule which is approximately 10 minutes drive has a daily market selling fresh fish and locally grown fruit and vegetables. The property is equally suitable for individual parties or for families with children who would like to meet others.

They both have a full bathroom and also a shower room.
Both have fully equipped kitchens with cooker, dishwasher and fridges.
French windows lead out to the garden with their own sitting out and sunbathing space.
There is a dining/sitting room.
There is a central laundry room with 2 clothes washing machines for the use of all the guests.
All the accommodation is furnished and decorated to a very high standard.

Both these villas have 2 twin bedded bedrooms but Villa 3 has 2 shower rooms whilst the other one has a full bathroom and a shower room.

There is a dining/sitting room.
They have their own sitting out and sunbathing space.
There is a central laundry room with 2 clothes washing machines for the use of all the guests.

Notes on accommodation
There is no air conditioning but there are ceiling fans. It is ideal for large family groups who want to be close to the amenities of a small thriving village but in a quiet location with beaches and golf courses only about 10 minutes drive away.

Outside
The pool is a large L shaped pool about 15 x 5 metres and is shared by all guests. It is not heated. Close by is the palm fronded shaded area where guests like to eat and the well kept gardens have many pool loungers and there is a built in barbecue and 2 mobile barbecues.

Coast/Beach
The beaches in the Vilamoura area are about 10 minutes drive from the property.

Golf
The golf courses at Vilamoura, Quinta da Lago and Vale de Lobo are within 10 minutes or so drive of the property and there are also tennis courts for hire nearby.

Travel
The nearest airport is Faro which is about 20 minutes drive away although with the new motorway now open all the way from Lisbon this is also an option although it takes about 2.5 to 3 hours to drive down. Car hire is recommended.

Distances
It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the centre of Boliquieme. Loule is about 10 minutes drive whilst Quarteira is about 15 minutes drive. It is also possible to drive over the border to Seville in about 2 hours. Cape St Vincent, the most south westerly point in Europe is about an hour and a halfs' drive and the towns of Lagos and Sagres are definitely worth a visit. The west coast beaches north of Cape St Vincent are wild and rugged and are a complete contrast to those on the south coast.

Further details
Boliquieme has a few shops, an old church, a bank, chemist, restaurant, bars and a mini market. Loule is a much larger town with more facilities and is about 10 minutes drive away

Booking notes
A non refundable deposit of £200 per villa is requied for all bookings for the period June - September inclusive and £150 for all other dates. The balance is required 8 weeks before departure.
