This villa is a lovely converted farmhouse set in an elevated position. It is beautifully decorated maintaining its original character but offering all the modern amenities. The villa is situated in a peaceful location, with outstanding views of the surrounding countryside and sea. The villa is quiet and tranquil without being totally isolated and it is very suitable for families with children of any age. Big garden for children to play with swings and a coverd barbecue area, with large tables. There is a grocery store and a couple of restaurants within easy walking distance. The villa is near Quinta do Lago, Almancil and Loulé. The beach resorts of Vale de Lobo and Quinta do Lago are about a 10m drive making this villa a great base for a larger group our family who want plenty of choice of activities and spacious property.

Changeover day
Changeover day is preferred on Thursdays our Saturdays in the high season and flexible on the low season. I rent the villa for the New Year Season. From the 29/12/11 until 02/01/12.

Living Rooms: A Big lounge with 2 French doors leading out to the spacious garden and pool and shaded terrace, lounge has Satelite TV, DVD player and music set.A dining room with table and cheers for 12 persones with 1 french door leading out to the garden and terrace.
Other: All rooms are beautifully decorated maintaining original character of the house.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Maid service 2 ,3 our 5 times per week dependes on what is agreed with the owner. Linen is changed one time a week towels are changed twice a week.

Notes on accommodation
The pool is in a slightly elevated position with views to the sea and mountain ,it is not fenced,there are steps around the site.Villa is very suitable for children due to its spacious grounds and it also has an outdoor play area with swings.There are fans in all rooms. Heating is provided in the rooms and living room for the winter months. The land around the villa is all fenced and with a electrical gates.There are 2 extra beds ,that are available at an extra cost of 160€ per week.The thick stone walls and huge flagstone floors ensure the interior cool,even in the hottest month. Baby sitting can be arranged for an extra charge with a local lady who we have esed many times.

The property has several steps outside and internally in the house.

Large shaded terraces with 2 large tables and 14 chairs, ideal for meals outside. The property enjoys wonderful views to the surrounding countryside and coast.The pool 10m x 5m facing south. Barbeque area, 8 sunbeds with cushions and parasols provided.

Vale do Lobo Beach - 6 kms from villa, lovely beach with shops, restaruants and bars close by.
Quinta do Lago Beach - 7 kms from villa, is a lovely beach which is surrounded by the natural reserve of Ria Formosa home to many birds and wild life.
Vale do Garrao - 6 kms from villa, lovely beach with pine cliffs over looking beach, serviced by good restaurants and bars, aquatic sports available on the beach.

Boat trips, fishing and diving in the Marina of Vilamoura

Zoomarine family park with marine world, dolphines, seal lions and parrot shows. You can also swim with the dolphines, 25 kms from villa.
Horse ridding stables close by in Vale de Eguas, 5 minutes drive.
Historical interests such as the town of Estoi with its Roman ruins and Palace is 12 kms distance.

Booking notes
When booking please give name, address, telephone numbers, number of party and dates required. A non returnable deposit of 50% will be payable at time of booking, the balance payable no later then 8 weeks prior to arrival. Last minute Booking has to be payed in the total. The owner request a break deposit on the arrival at the villa and then it will be return after the departure.
