Our spacious pool side apartment at Vilaflor is ideal for families and golfers alike. The 4 year old ground floor apartment is set in lovely well kept grounds with direct access to the large inviting pool plus childrens pool, and has all modern conveniences. This small private complex is completely fenced in so if very safe for children. Vilaflor has a second pool situated infront of an all year round bar/restaurant serving superb food. Here you have a plasma TV and comfortable sofas where you can just sit and relax. In the winter there is a very inviting open log fire. Family run, you will be sure of a warm welcome. As this is a private complex and has only 35 apartments it is never packed and is ideal for a relaxing holiday. The local shops are just a few minutes away and there is a very good bus service which stops outside the apartment. There is also a road train which you can flag down. The children love it. Taxis are very cheap, 3.50 euro to the Marina.

Changeover day
We try to be as flexible as possible with change over days, and arrival and departure times. Every booking is treated individually.

Notes on accommodation
Very safe for children with large grass play area. Heaters and fans in all rooms. There is an electric log effect fire in the lounge. A safe for your valuables. Included in the price a welcome food pack is provided. Standard to the apartment you will find essentials like toilet rolls, kitchen roll, washing-up liquid, bin liners, tea, coffee, sugar etc.
Outside
Outside the apartment you will find a large terrace with patio furniture, 4 sun loungers for sole use of our clients, washing line pegs etc. Immediately in front is a large grass area for sunbathing with direct access to the large inviting unheated swimming pool. There is also a fenced childrens pool.
Coast/Beach
The beaches of Falesia and Quarteira are 5 minutes by car or a 20 minutes stroll. Both the beaches are long and sandy, with dramatic cliff back drops and lots of water activities in the Summer months. Within a half hour drive you can find many quiet coves and unspoilt bays. Both to the East and West of the Algarve.
Golf
Our apartment in Vilamoura is only 5 minutes from 5 of the best golf courses in the Algarve. The Old Course, Millennium, Pinhal, Laguna and the NEW Victoria Course. Vila Sol is 10 minutes away. I can arrange fantastic discounted golf and prime tee times. Over the last 2 years I have been offering special Winter Golf Packages which have proved to be very popular. 7 nights self catering accommodation, 4 rounds of golf on the Vilamoura Courses, Return Airport Transfers and 5 days Car Hire all for 460 euros (approx £320 GBP) per person. Travel
Vilaflor is just 20 minutes drive from Faro Airport. We can arrange Return Airport Transfers, or can arrange Car Hire at very competitive rates, to be collected from the airport. A car is not essential to your holiday, if you just fancy a few trips out, but to go exploring some of the beautiful Algarve I would highly recommend it. There are many beautiful unspoilt villages and beaches to be found. Not forgetting the mouthwatering Portuguese food.
Distances
Vilamoura Marina with its cosmopoloitan shops and bars, and 2 fabulous sandy beaches is a 5 minutes drive or a leisurely 20 minute stroll, through a pretty tree lined walkway. Here you can sit at one of the many quay side bars and watch the world go by trying to decide which boat to buy when the Lottery comes up, try some of the wonderful restaurants or shop til you drop. The Marina comes to life in the evenings and there is also a Casino with International Caberet if you fancy a flutter.
Further details
2 minutes from the apartment you will find a well stocked supermarket, gift shop, paper shop, English hairdressers, 2 excellent restaurants, wine bar with live entertainment and coffee shop. The nearest bank and farmacia are a few minutes drive. Every Wednesday there is a Gypsy Market in Quarteira 10 minutes away. Well worth a visit and do try their doughnuts. There is also a very good Fish Market there, down on the beach, a must if you love sea food.
Booking notes
We ask for a 20% deposit to secure your booking with full payment 4 weeks prior to arrival by Bankers Transfer. Other options can be discussed, we try to accommodate everyone's needs. Once the deposit is received I will send you information on Vilamoura and the surrounding area. There is a safe in the apartment.
