This private and secure villa is located in the foot hills south of Estoi which is a rural non-tourist area. The property is mostly surrounded by orange groves, not overlooked but not isolated being approximately 6km north of Faro town, the Algarve capital, and 8km from Faro airport, which is around 20 minutes by car. The local town is Estoi, which has shops, restaurants and banks and is famous for the Palace do Visconde (The Pink Palace).

Notes on prices
An additional charge of £25 per person per week is made for more than 2 people renting, regardless of age.
Discounts of £30 per week on the total price are offerd for 'couples only' sharing one bedroom.
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds.
Pool heating £135 per week, available from Mid April to Mid October.

Notes on accommodation
The lounge/dining/kitchen area is open plan. For colder months there is an open log fire and electric heaters are available. Non-smokers would be strongly preferred on a general basis, but there is strictly no smoking allowed inside the villa.
Accessibility
The villa is bungalow style with no steps more than 3" for general access. The internal doors are standard and there is a 6" step into the shower. The pool wide steps for easy access as against ladders i.e. the villa is suitable for infirm people with wheelchairs as against totally disabled.
Outside
Pool size 10m x 5m deep, depth 0.9m to 1.4m, with patio area laid to ceramic tiling. There are also sun loungers and parasol, plus table and chairs under a shady tiled roof lean-to. There is a barbecue available at all times. The pool has heating if required at extra cost.
Coast/Beach
Nearest beach is Faro beach which is 7kms away.
Golf
The villa is ideally placed for golfers with the nearest courses only being 20 minutes away.
Special interest holidays
The villa is 'bungalow style' and has no access steps of more than 7cms.
There is a 18cm step to access the main shower.
The pool has tiled steps as against a ladder.
Travel
8km Faro airport.
Car hire is considered essential and this can be arranged by us. Airport pick up and return.
Distances
Distance to Estoi 20 minutes walk, 3 minutes by car for local shops and small restaurants. Access to the main motorway is 5 minutes by car giving easy reach to all locations of the Algarve. Spain is 40 minutes drive away as is Lagos at the other end of the Algarve coast.
Further details
Restaurants are available within a short distance and are inexpensive compared to coastal resorts. Inland there are the cork and pine forests which can easily be accessed by walkers and nature lovers, particularly in spring when the slopes are covered in wild flowers. The villa is ideally placed for golfers with the nearest courses only being 20 minutes away.
Please note that the owners of the villa live next door and are therefore available to give personal service.
Booking notes
£100 deposit is required on booking with final balance to be made 6 weeks before holiday. 50 Euros breakage deposit is required on arrival returnable at the end of vacation.
