This luxury villa is situated a few minutes drive from the small fishing village of Burgau and approx 3 km from Luz, both with lovely beaches. Lagos, the nearest town, is approx. 12km away and the airport at Faro is just over an hour away on the new A22. The Western end of the Algarve is still comparatively unspoilt and offers a holiday with the minimum of commercialisation. The villa is furnished and equipped to the highest standard providing all home comforts. The sea views are quite magnificent and the villa offers tranquillity but with the added advantage of being close to beaches, restaurants, shops etc. English Management look after the villa and are on hand in case of any problems. Wood burning stove and wafer heaters in all rooms for winter use.

Changeover day
In season Saturday is changeover day. The villa must be vacated by 10.00am and is available for new clients from 2.00am. In some cases this can be flexible.

Outside
Large terraces with barbecue and separate upstairs terrace with magnificent views. Large table and benches under pergola, two tables and six chairs on downstairs terrace and table and twochairs and table on upstairs terrace. Six sunbeds and mattress and various umbrellas. Pool approx. 10 x 6 meters cleaned weekly.
Coast/Beach
Burgau and Luz both have sandy beaches and beach bars. Burgau is less than 5 mins by car and Luz just over. Both within walking distance, Burgau about 20 mins over the headland and Luz about 35 minutes. Still many secluded beaches to be found. The beach the other side of Lagos, Meia Praia is long and sandy and well worth a visit as is Salema which is just further West. The Western Algarve is becoming well known for KITE SURFING. Golf
Parques da Floresta approx. 10 minutes away. Boa Vista is approx. 10 minutes away and Palmares about 25 minutes away. All have magnificent views and are very well maintained. Penina is approx 30/35 minutes away. Booking advised.
Travel
Faro Airport is the nearest airport and is just over one hours travelling time on the A22 to Lagos and then the N125. Casa Janelas is situated on the headland off the coast road between Luz and Burgau. Accurate route details provided.
Distances
Burgau less than three minutes by car. Luz about five minutes by car. Lagos about 15 minutes by car. Monchique is approximately 45 minutes by car. Portimao is approximately 35 minutes by car.
Further details
Plentiful restaurants in and around Burgau and Luz. Also there are many restaurants in Lagos, small villages and up in the hills. Cards and information in Villa. There are Banks in Luz and also several in Lagos, there are cash points in Luz and several supermarkets. Parque da Floresta offers golf, tennis, bowls and also has a Spa with a gym and offering many beauty treatments. There is also a Spa, gym and indoor swimming pool at Boa Vista which can be joined on a weekly basis.
