Vila Sol Golf Course is at the rear of the complex and the Aquashow Waterslide Park is nearby. 12 other quality golf courses are within 10km, including those at Vilamoura, Vale do Lobo and Quinta de Lago. The local beach at Fonte Santa is secluded, long and sandy with bars, restaurants, beach, watersports hire facilities.

Other: Entrance hall with video security entry equipment. Lobby leading to bedroom quarters and bathrooms. Storage room in basement parking facility containing 2 adult bicycles, 1 set of golf clubs/bag, Tennis rackets/balls, beach and fishing equipment.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and bed linen are included and the maid/cleaner visits weekly. Usually on the first Friday for 14 day rentals or by arrangement.

 

Notes on accommodation
Portable heaters and air conditioning units are provided.
A music line is installed in each room which is sourced from the TV/DVD video or music centre in the lounge. Ideal for families with children a variety of children's DVD's, videos and games in the apartment and also external facilities in the leisure centre. Although not prohibited, we would request that guests smoke on the balconies.

Outside
In the apartment, weatherproof furniture can be found on all balconies, including dining furniture, loungers etc.
The roof terrace has 360 degree views of the local Loule Hills and the coast. The swimming pool is for exclusive use of the apartment owners, and their guests and is accessed through the security controlled private leisure facilities and is large, kidney shaped (see photo) and approximately 5 feet deep throughout. The complex has apparatus (e.g. swings, playhouse etc) for the children, all weather tennis courts, fully equipped gymnasium and the popular Italian Restaurant/Bar "Tiramisu".

Coast/Beach
Fonte Santa Beach is 5 mins drive, 30 mins walk. Beaches at Vale do Lobo, Quarteira and Vilamoura are approx 10 mins drive.

Golf
Vila Sol Golf Course is approx 400 metres. The following other courses are within 10km; at Vilamoura - Victoria, Millenium, Laguna, Pinhal, and The Old Course; at Vale do Lobo - Ocean, Royal and San Lorenzo; at Quinta do Lago - North (Rio Formosa), south and Piheiros Altos. Prices range from 40 euros to 150 euros per round and discounts are available at Al Sakia Village and can be booked in advance. Handicap certificates are required.

Travel
Faro Airport is approx 15km, 30 mins drive, costs 25 euros each way in a taxi. Meet and greet service available at Faro Airport. Frequent economy flights from the UK can be arranged through British Airways, Monarch or Easyjet. A car is a necessity to fully appreciate all aspects of this beautiful Algarve coast and the many leisure pursuits, restaurants available. Vilamoura 7km Marina Puerto Banus style with bars, restaurants, watersports, boat fishing hire and more. Casino and nightclubs. Vale do Lobo 7km long sandy beach, bars, retaurants, crazy golf and Roger Taylor's Tennis Centre. Olhus de Agua 10km quaint fising port. Albufiera 15km beautiful beach, old town, shopping, etc.

Bang in the central Algarve with great beaches, interesting places to visit and high quality restaurants where the only difficulty is which one to choose.
