Second floor apartment accessed by a lift. I can organise a second apartment in the same block (subject to availability).
Outside
The apartments have a shared pool/kids pool, pool bar and cafe, hairdressers and supermarket on site.
Coast/Beach
A healthy 10 minute walk away is the town center with it's stunning Marina, wonderful shops and of course two huge beaches Praia da Falesia and Praia da Marina which cater for Sun worshippers and Watersports enthusiasts alike.
Golf
The apartment is surrounded by six Golf courses Millenium, Laguna, Victoria, Vila sol, Pinal and the Old Course. These are some of the best courses in Portugal if not the world ! Pinal and old course are within walking distance others would be a five minute drive away.
Special interest holidays
Local Waterpark is only 4K away.
Travel
Vilamoura is about 20 minutes drive from the main airport at Faro. Hiring a car is a good idea as the roads are easy to drive on and there are plenty of places of local interest to visit.
Distances
Vilamoura center is within walking distance for the fit and healthy otherwise about 2 minutes in a car.

Dear Philip, Arrived back in the UK safe and sound and had a good holiday in Villamora. The weather for the first three days was quite overcast but it soon warmed up and was very hot the rest of the time. I should have txt'd you back re the DVD but I followed your advice and checked the connections and a cable at the back of TV one had disconnected. Reconnected it and everything was fine. My 13 year old enjoyed lots of the movies particularly Pirates of the Caribbean and the kids DVDs such as Nemo/Madagascar etc kept my 4 year old entertained in the mornings when mum and dad tried to lie in! Enjoyed the pool and ate regularly at the snack bar - good value, nice people and very cold beers. Took your advice and went to ZooMarine which was a good day out and we also enjoyed a day at Aqua Show. Didn't need to contact Francis during the holiday as everything was fine. Airport transfers that she organised went very well so please pass on our thanks and appreciation to her.
