Vila Mandolina is situated in the Costa Vincentina nature reserve. Ideally situated for anyone seeking a relaxing holiday. The house is reached by a well surfaced track from the village of Figueira only 1 kilometre away. There are several cottages dotted around the surrounding countryside but none to close to intrude on the villas privacy. At the front of the villa a track leads to a beautiful secluded almost private beach. The walk to the beach takes 7 minutes and involves a short climb on entering the beach, some sure footedness and sensible shoes are required but the walk is well worth the effort.There is a large supermarket nearby and all local produce may be purchased in the village. For the energetic there are tennis courts and golf just 8 mins drive away.

About the owner
We are a couple who has lived in Portugal for almost 20 years and really enjoy the outdoor life, hence the reason for building a home in the country. We live in the villa in the winter months and therefore have made it homely with the additional touches that rented accommodation does not normally include.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We chose the location to build our home because it was the perfect location to raise our children. We have had many happy years walking to the beach from the villa and enjoying the surrounding countryside. The area is now part of the Vincentina Nature Park and therefore protected against future construction projects.

Unique benefits of the property
There are not many properties which can match the location and boast of an almost private beach nearby. It is really a tranquil and relaxing setting yet anyone requiring more activity can play Golf or Tennis at a local resort nearby just 2 kilometres away.
