Patio doors open onto the balcony which overlooks the pool.The closest beach is Praia da Luz, which is well suited for families wishing to take advantage of the cafes, restaurants and water sports. The beach at Dona Ana in Lagos is also a popular family beach. If, however, more secluded coves with breathtaking scenery and quaint seaside tavernas are what you are after, then the beaches at Salema, Burgau and Zavial are sure to impress. On the resort is a Tennis Academy and kids Football school offering weekly lessons.

There are lots of facilities here from restaurants, shops and cafes to water sports and beach activites. A popluar beach with families. Porto do Mos is another popular beach which has a fantastic restaurant - a local favourite. There are in fact several beaches from secluded coves to popular family favourites all within a 10 min drive of Boavista.
