Quinta do Moleiro is accessed off the tarmacked lane leading down to Marinha beach. Double wrought-iron gates open onto a calzada (small granite blocks) driveway, which leads down to a parking area in front of the villa.

Notes on accommodation
There are solar panels on the roof of the villa, which provide the power to heat 300 litres of water. Quinta da Moleiro has its own water provided by a borehole and stored in a "cisterna" (water tank). The water is sweet and drinkable.
To conserve water the use of the washing machine by clients is limited to 2 days a week.

Outside
3 external patios, fully furnished with outdoor furniture and barbecue. 15 x 7 metre rectangular, tiled pool surrounded by wide paved terrace and low white wall. This area overlooks the beautifully landscaped gardens which includes a wide lawned area and mature trees all around. The paved terrace continues around the side of the villa where there is a built in barbecue and outside wc. The gardens are completely enclosed and are a particular feature of this property. There are approximately 120 trees including lemon, orange, grapefruit, pomegranate, fig, almond, olive, peach, plum, apricot, apple and pear with large coniferous trees on the boundary. Large colourful flowerbeds and bushes also surround the villa. An electrically operated irrigation system ensures the garden is kept watered year round.
Coast/Beach
Quinta do Moleiro is located in the central Algarve, east of Carvoeiro, close to Benagil fishing village and the beautiful beach at Marinha. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty and has become highly sought after by those seeking individual villas in peaceful, unspoilt surroundings yet within a short walk (550metres) of the spectacular coastline at Marinha.
Golf
Five minutes drive away is the resort town of Carvoeiro which has a choice of first class golf courses.

Travel
The nearest airport, Faro, is approximately 40 minutes drive away and Lisbon, an easy two and half hour drive on the new motorway. Car hire advised. If you do not drive do not worry you can get the train / Bus from Faro to Portimao and pick up a cab to the villa.
Distances
Five minutes drive away is the resort town of Carvoeiro which has a wide choice of small shops, restaurants, a large supermarket and a choice of first class golf courses. The larger centres of Portimao and Lagoa with its busy shopping centre and yachting marina are approximately 15 minutes drive from the villa.
Booking notes
15% deposit payable on booking.
Rental can be of any duration for 1 to 8 people (min of 1 week during summer season).
£200 deposit on arrival against breakages/damages and returned to the client/s on departure once the property has been checked.
