Villa Pinhal A traditional Portuguese Villa set back approx 200 metres from road, in its own grounds with pine trees that give the property its name. Panoramic views over orange groves towards Vilamoura and the sea. Beautiful sandy beaches close by as are numerous golf courses all within easy reach. The gardens and long drive boasts an array of trees and flora, orange, lemon, pomegranate, peach, avocado, fig, mango, bouganvillea, hibiscus etc. leading to large gravelled parking area and villa with surrounding lawns and private pool.

Prices are a guide for the property per week in UK pounds sterling. Based on up to 10 persons sharing whole villa. There will be an extra charge for additional persons. Contact owner for firm quotation.

Generally, Tues - Tues/Sat - Sat, but will try and accommodate whenever we can, dependent on bookings.

Bedrooms: Panorama Lilac: has a double and single bed.
Panorama Pink: has a 3/4 and twin beds.
Poolside Green: has a King size bed.
Poolside Lemon: has twin beds.
Sofa beds in both lounges (2 in Panorama and 3 in Poolside).
Bathrooms: Panorama has a family bathroom - 2 basins, WC, bidet and bath/shower over.
Poolside bedrooms are both en-suite.
There is also a separate family bathroom with sunken bath!
Kitchen: Both kitchens are well equipped with cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave/grill, washing machine, iron/ironing board, toaster, sandwich maker,mixer, juicer, coffee machine, kettle, water cooler, vast array of utensils.
Living Rooms: Panorama: Double sofa bed, cottage suite, dining suite, dresser, coffee table, Satellite TV, DVD player. 2 x terraces with furniture. Poolside: Fireplace, 3 double sofa beds, dining suite, 2 dressers, coffee table, Satellite TV, DVD player. Two terraces.
Other: Entrance Hall has book library, music library, various games etc. We even have a PS2 and a Karaoke machine - Be A Star!

Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning units which can also be used as heaters (an extra charge may be incurred). All bathrooms have shaver points and hairdryers are provided for guests use if required. A safe for storing your valuables. Cot/Highchair/Playpen are available if required (no charge). Smoking allowed. Telephone/Internet by arrangement.

Accessibility
Have had three previous clients using wheelchairs/scooters although they were not too badly disabled, i.e. able to stand and walk a little with assistance. Plenty of space downstairs to manoeuvre and easy to the end of villa path. From there to the top of the drive is gravelled approx 50m which, in a wheelchair is a little more difficult to push, although it is pretty level. The rest of the drive to the road is cobbled.

Outside
An array of various fruit trees line the drive to Villa Pinhal with two sets of gates. Car Parking for several cars. Grassed area to front and side of villa. Pool depth is approx 1.10m graduating to 2.10 at its deepest. Overall size approx 7.5m x 4. Outside shower. 10 sunbeds, umbrellas provided. All terraces have furniture. Large barbeque/barbecue area outside.

Coast/Beach
Beaches within 10 mins of Villa Pinhal are Falesia (the biggest and best, so is said), Olhos d'Agua, Sta Eulalia, Louisa Maria and Praia D'Oura. There are a host of other beautiful beaches within easy reach, such as Sao Raphael, Castelo approx 10/15 mins drive.

Golf
Golf courses nearby are Laguna, Millennium and the new Victoria courses (within 10 mins drive away). Vilamoura courses, Pinhal etc are all within easy reach. Pine Cliffs and Balaia are 9 hole courses about 5 mins away.

Travel
Faro airport is approx 20/25 mins drive. Car Hire is recommended and can be arranged for you at reasonble rates. Transportation from/to the airport can also be arranged. Easy access to the EN125 which runs right through the length of the Algarve.

Distances
Villa Pinhal is situated in Pata da Baixo, which is between Vilamoura and Albufeira. Albufeira is 4km away. Acoteias is 5 minutes drive with a host of shops, bars and restaurants, so too is Olhos d'Agua. A host of attractions such as Zoomarine (swim with dolphins-excellent!), Slide & Splash, Aqualand, Aqua Show, Crazy World and Algarve Shopping with it's cinema's, bowling, shops and restaurants, easily accessible from the EN125.

Further details
There are small local cafes nearby, very cheap. Can get fresh bread there every morning. The nearest large supermarket Inter Marche, is approx 5 mins drive away. There are cash machines in the Petrol stations 5 mins away. Banks and cash machines in Acoteias. Excellent fresh fish shop and a variety of restaurants, all excellent. Tania's - Chicken Piri-Piri or Kebabs..with tomato/onion salad and chips....Great! Mouth watering ! They do Take Away too! Local wines are sooooooooooo cheap!

Booking notes
A 30% deposit is required on booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before departure. A damage deposit will also be required, refundable one week after departure.
