Moulded ceilings enhance the pastel coloured bedrooms. Thick walls and high ceilings and wooden shutters keep the rooms cool in summer. All rooms have tea/coffee facilities and a guest fridge is available. Guests from around the world and all walks of life enjoy continental breakfast together at the large dining table. Families are welcome.

Casa grande is close to three international golf courses. Both Boavista and Parque de Floresta are within a 15 mins drive. Palmares is close to the sea in Lagos and a 20 mins drive.

Casa Grande is ideal for groups. We have had health and yoga holidays for groups of up to 20. Also painting holidays and spiritual workshops. We will be happy to arrange a special price for your group.

Faro is 80km from Casa Grande. Car hire can be arranged at competitive prices to meet you at the airport. It is recommended to have a car.

12km from historical town of Lagos. 40km to Cape St. Vincente the furthest point south-west in Europe.

The ADEGA restaurant (an old converted winery), adjoining the guesthouse, is a well-established restaurant serving many Portuguese specialities and an extensive vegetarian menu.
