Casa Grande - this guest house is filled with charm and character of yesteryear. Most rooms and suites are filled with antiques. All rooms have private bathrooms and some have balconies. Moulded ceilings enhance the pastel coloured bedrooms. Thick walls and high ceilings and wooden shutters keep the rooms cool in summer. All rooms have tea/coffee facilities and a guest fridge is available. Guests from around the world and all walks of life enjoy continental breakfast together at the large dining table. Families are welcome.

3 suites for 3 or 4 people. The front suite (blue) has 2 large bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a double and a single bed. Plus cherubs on the ceiling.
Fully equipped bathrooms. Back suites (yellow/green) have one large bedroom with single beds and a small annex room with 2 single beds. The large front bedroom (pink) has a double and a single bed. Ground floor are 2 smaller rooms en-suite.

Also a converted rustic barn which offers fun accommodation for 4/6 with a small kitchen and open living room.
Outside
There is a garden in front of the house where guests are welcome.
Golf
Casa grande is close to three international golf courses. Both Boavista and Parque de Floresta are within a 15 mins drive. Palmares is close to the sea in Lagos and a 20 mins drive.
Special interest holidays
Casa Grande is ideal for groups. We have had health and yoga holidays for groups of up to 20. Also painting holidays and spiritual workshops. We will be happy to arrange a special price for your group.
Travel
Faro is 80km from Casa Grande. Car hire can be arranged at competitive prices to meet you at the airport. It is recommended to have a car.

12km from historical town of Lagos. 40km to Cape St. Vincente the furthest point south-west in Europe.
Further details
The ADEGA restaurant (an old converted winery), adjoining the guesthouse, is a well-established restaurant serving many Portuguese specialities and an extensive vegetarian menu.
