Prices quoted are for weekly rental period. If a particular booking crosses over two pricing periods the price will be adjusted accordingly. Price includes weekly maid visit and linen changeover. Price for additional maid service is available on request. This villa is available for extended stays during the winter period at an unbelievable price. See above table. (Extended winter rate excludes maid service linen change and utility payments (gas water and electricity) which are charged at cost).
Changeover day
Normal changeover day is Saturday. Property can be occupied from 3pm and vacated by 10am. A weekly maid service/linen change is provided.

Notes on accommodation
The property is luxuriously fitted out and is centrally heated throughout. The villa has a large fully walled garden and is ideal for families.
Accessibility
Not ideally suited for wheelchair users.
Outside
Beautifully landscaped gardens and stunning 11 metre swimming pool. Stone and wrought iron fencing and ample lawn and sun terraces. Outside pool shower and outdoor covered barbeque and entertainment area. Private driveway with parking for up to 10 cars. Located at the end of private cul-de-sac in quiet conservation/farmland area with no passing traffic.
Coast/Beach
The beautiful Meia Praia beach is less than five minutes drive away. The lovely sandy coves and grottoes of Ponta da Piedade can be reached in less than 10 minutes. Lagos Old Town and Marina are within walking distance. This is one of the most gorgeous coastline stretches in Europe.
Golf
The championship courses of Penina, Palmares and Boa Vista are all within 15 minutes drive. Parque da Floresta can be reached within 25 minutes by car.
Special interest holidays
Microlight flights are available at Lagos Aerodrome which is within walking distance of the villa. Flying courses are also available. Sailing, water skiing, diving and deep sea fishing courses are all available at nearby Lagos Marina.
Travel
Faro Airport is 75 kms (50 minutes via the new motorway).
Lisbon can be reached within 3 hours (again using the new motorway). There is a regular trains service between Faro to Lagos as well as a good network of local and regional bus and coach services. Taxi services are plentiful in Lagos. There is a bus service to Lagos and Portimao with a bus stop just a few hundred metres from the property.
Distances
Lagos old town and marina are both under 2 kms away from the property. Both of these locations offer a wide choice of shops and restaurants.
Further details
A wide array of sporting and leisure activities are all easily accessible around Lagos. Lagos old town has a wonderful choice of cafes, bars, restaurants and nightlife. The perfect base from which to explore the mountains, fishing villages and beaches of the Western Algarve.

Peter and Joanna Scriven have a long association with the Western Algarve and have owned property there since 1983. Currently residing in Dubai, they and their their family visit their "second home" in the Western Algarve every year and plan, one day, to live there on a permanent basis.
