A lovingly restored old Portuguese house that just oozes charm and character situated in an idyllic country hamlet. Close to the picturesque village of Alte yet only 15kms from the busy resort of Albufeira with its wonderful beaches. Vilamoura has several golf courses and is only a 20 minute drive.

Changeover day
Changeover is flexible. We request guests to arrive after 2.30 p.m. and depart by 10.00 a.m.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom one with double bed. Bedroom two with double bed. Bedroom three with twin beds. |
| Bathrooms: | Fully fitted family bathroom with bath, shower, basin, bidet and WC. Further bathroom on lower level adjacent to the pool with shower, basin and WC. |
| Kitchen: | Fully equipped kitchen including cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, utensils and all basic condiments. |
| Living Rooms: | The Lounge is on the lower level of the villa and has a spiral staircase leading to the kitchen and two bedrooms above. The living area has a wood burning fireplace, satellite TV, Video and stereo system. Patio doors lead out to the terrace and pool. |
| Other: | The third twin bedroom is off the lounge, so is on the same level as the pool. |

Notes on accommodation
The owners and their two friendly dogs live in a separate apartment next to the villa but not adjoining, so are on hand if you require any help during your stay. Air conditioning extra, fans provided.
Accessibility
Not suitable for people with mobility problems.
Outside
Large salt water pool with steps leading into the shallow end (size - 8m x 4m and depth 1.1m - 1.8m). Covered patio area with tables and chairs and a sun terrace with sunbeds and umbrellas. Large BBQ area for dining outside.
Coast/Beach
Casa Francis is just 20 mins drive from the popular resort of Albufeira with beautiful sandy beaches. Gale and Salgados 30 mins drive. The coastline of the Algarve stretches East to West with long sandy beaches and rocky coves.
Golf
Golf courses stretch the length of the Algarve and all within one hour's drive. The nearest to the west is Salgados Golf and to the east are the renowned Vilamoura courses.
Travel
Casa Francis is just 40 minutes drive from Faro Airport. Car hire is essential.
Distances
The nearest village is the historical village of Alte which is just a 5 minute drive from the villa. Alte has picturesque views overlooking the valley and has many places of interest to visit including the fontes/picnic areas, museum, local markets and traditional bars and restaurants. Local attractions such as Zoomarine and Water Parks are all within 30 minutes drive.
Further details
There is a local shop/cafe in the village of Esteval dos Mouros just a ten minute walk away. Algarve Shopping Centre with over 130 shops and 30 restaurants, ten pin bowling, as well as 9 cinemas is just a 20 min drive away.
Booking notes
30% deposit is payable on booking and the balance payment is due to arrive no later than 8 weeks before arrival date. A security deposit of 150 euros is payable on arrival and will be refunded on your departure.
