Notes on prices
Prices shown are for the property per week in UK Pounds and includes all utilities and use of linen and towels (not beach towels). Please note we do not rent apartment for less than a week period therefore prices for less than one week stay will be at weekly rate. Competitive pricing for long winter lets - details available on request.

Changeover day
Flexible on changeover day of week (please check first) to meet as many requests as possible as we know midweek flight prices are more competitive.

Accommodation

Notes on accommodation
Bedroom one has a digital safe for your use should you choose to. There are oil filled heaters and duvets for the colder months. Although we will not exclude children from staying at the apartment you should be aware that the furnishings may not be suitable for children (glass top coffee table in particular as top is not secure - this is pointed out as we would hate anyone to get hurt rather than our concern for the table). We would prefer non-smokers but in the event that you are a smoker we would politely request that you smoke out on the balcony. Cot and high chair can be arranged for a small fee.

Amenities/Facilities provided

Outside
The large apartment pool (21m x 8m) is for sole use of the residents. Access to the apartment is by video phone security and as the pool entrance is locked, only residents can access. There are four lounger beds, with pads, available for our guests, for the pool area, along with a large umbrella and small table. The property manager will make them available to guests on arrival.

Coast/Beach
There are many beautiful beaches along the Algarve coast. A five minute walk from the apartment is the beautiful Gale beach. Along from here are Coella, Rafael and Everista beaches. Although you can walk to these in a reasonable amount of time, a car would be better to reach these additional beaches.

Golf
There are many golf courses in the surrounding areas. You are within easy reach by car of Vilamoura where there are many top European courses which include the new Victoria course. A three minute drive from the apartment is Salgados course, a course known for its many water hazards!

Travel
The apartment is 35 minutes from Faro airport. We do have a property manager who will be on hand for you during your stay. In addition, for a small fee payable to him directly, we can arrange airport transfers (please request at time of booking). If you would prefer to hire a car we would be very happy to recommend the company that we use. As there are so many beautiful places to visit in the surrounding areas we would recommend a car although it is not essential.

Distances
Albufeira, is about ten minutes away in the car or by bus. Above Gale is a town called Guia which is where Piri Piri chicken originates. Zoomarine (with the opportunity to swim with dolphins for a fee of around 130 euros) is about five minutes drive away. Other places of interest are Silves with its ancient castle, Monchique mountains (which you can see in the distance from the balcony) and Vilamoura which has a casino and large marina - all worth a visit and within easy driving distance.

Further details
There is just so much to do in the Algarve! Or you can just relax and enjoy the beautiful weather! The supermarket which is minutes walk from the apartment, has a cash point machine but if you require a banking service then there are many banks in Albufeira. There are activities to do including horse riding, scuba diving and many tours like sea cruises. Leaflets can be found in the apartment. Algarve shopping centre is a ten minute drive away and includes a cinema (films are English with Portuguese subtitles) and a bowling alley.

Booking notes
We require a 40% non refundable deposit to secure booking. This should be paid at the time of booking with balance paid six weeks before departure. If trip is within six weeks then full balance will be required. It is with regret that we have to impose a refundable damage deposit of £100. The deposit is to protect us from unreasonable damage to our property which we have recently encountered. Please pay with final balance.
