This beautiful villa is situated in the hills of 'Vale Formoso' (beautiful valley) in a rural setting just above Almancil, south of Loule. Casa Bela Vista is ideally suited for family holidays with an emphasis on outdoor fun, covered terraces planted with Bougainvillea provide welcome shade during the hotter months. The lounge and the two doubles bedrooms lead out to the enclosed landscaped gardens and pool area, enjoying panoramic views of the coast. Whilst secluded and private the villa enjoys easy access to the shops, restaurants, bars, golf courses and beaches. The location is a great place for kids, who can explore the mountain paths and walk to the riding school two minutes away. However this south west facing villa leaves the best till last - at the end of the day relax on the terrace with a glass of local Vinho Verde to watch magnificent sunsets followed by a spot of star gazing any lively children can take a night time dip in the lighted pool. Notes on prices
Reduction in prices for October - 31st March 2012 for smaller parties up to 4 persons please contact the owner for prices. Air-conditioning and Underfloor heating are chargeable £150 per week for the cooler months and open log fire in the lounge. For long winter lets more than one month electricity is read on a meter.
Changeover day
Usually Saturday but can be flexible, depending on other bookings. Arrival: not before 4pm arrangements can be made to drop off luggage clients are required to leave by 10am on departure day.This ensures you will arrive in a clean and organized house.

Notes on accommodation
Two Cots and high chairs are provided, along with Brio wooden train set, Lego, baby monitor, and lots of books to read WI-FI broadband. The villa is suitable for children, enclosed garden area with fence and gate. Information pack for lots to do with the kids, restaurants, sports and the surrounding area.
Accessibility
The villa is suitable for wheelchairs, with a roll in shower, shower chair/toilet chair, and hand rails, there are ramps where needed for full access to get around the villa inside and out. Arrangements can be made for hire accessibility aids including pool lift, bed hoist, mobility scooter etc which can be installed at the villa on your arrival. English speaking GP is 1/2 km, nearest A&E 10 mins by car. Please contact for more information.
Outside
Set within private landscaped gardens the large pool 9.50m x 4.50m enjoys panoramic views of the coast. Relax under the dappled shade from the Bougainvillea, terracotta paved covered terraces that surround the living areas. Enjoy lazy lunches and starry evening BBQ dinners at the large (8 people) stone dining table. Two round tables and chairs to enjoy the beautiful views to the coast.
The mornings are filled with birdsong from the wide variety of bird life found here. From the house you can explore the tiny paths over the neighbouring hills walking through wild herbs such as thyme, lavender and rosemary. Plenty of sun loungers to relax and enjoy the Algravian summer sunshine.
Coast/Beach
There are many beautiful beaches all within approx 15 minutes drive from the villa. The beaches nearby have the "blue flag", beautiful large sandy beaches with protected dunes, and are amongst the cleanest in Europe. Family orientated beach "Vale do Garrao" with plenty of beach restaurants, and water sports.
Golf
Local golf courses include: Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo, Pinherios Altos, Villa sol, Villamoura all 10 minute drive. Excellent courses all 18 holes. The area is perhaps best known for its championship golf courses, some of the finest in Europe in most beautiful surroundings.
Travel
Faro airport is 15 minutes drive. The Spanish border 45 minutes, Seville 2/3 hours, Lisbon 2 hours. Car hire is recommended and can be arranged on your behalf, at competitive prices.
Distances
A wide selection of restaurants, water slide parks, water sports, kite surfing, paragliding, and karting are all within 10 minutes drive. "zoo marine" where kids and adults can swim with the dolphins 20 minute drive. 5 minute drive from Loule with its daily fresh vegetable and fruit market. 15 minute to Faro, with lots of shops.
Further details
Loule is 5 minute drive from the villa, and hosts many festivals in the summer months, with live music in the castle "Med festival" starts 23rd June - 26th June, jazz events and the famous "white night" with plenty of street entertainment for all the family.
Banks, post office, pharmacies, and English speaking medical centre, supermarkets Modelo, Continente and Apolonia supermarkets which supplies many UK products and has a great selection of veggies and fish counters are all within a 5 minute drive, also Lidal and Aldi.
If you fancy a bit of horse riding kids and adults a 2 minute walk through the valley, and by arrangement horse Safaris through the Algarve countryside from 1 hour to 1 week trekking.
Vale do Garrao beach has plenty of water sports including jet ski, water ski, banana boat, windsurfing on a small lake all 15 minute from the villa.
To the wild west for a spot of surfing and body boarding, there are plenty of surf schools, a 45 minute drive, well worth it!
For a relaxing lunch on a yacht and a good chance of spotting dolphin's kids will love it! a trip out from Vilamoura marina 15 minute drive.
Loads of golf courses to choose from and mini golf for the smaller kids.
For the more adventurous rock climb up Monchique 40 minute drive. Paragliding and helicopter rides 10 minute drive. Diving in the waters of Lagos 35 minute drive.
Bela Vista is situated in an ideal position to take full advantage of what the Algarve has to offer.

25% deposit on confirmation of booking. 6 weeks prior the full amount. A refundable damage deposit of £500 is required on the final payment. Check in 4pm and check out 10am. Arrangements can be made to drop off luggage if required.

It was one of the most relaxing holidays we have had for years. It was brilliant being meet at the airport. The villa itself is beautiful, spacious and well equipped. The gardens green and verdant, with such gorgeous bougainvillea. Being woken by the sound of birdsong, and absolutely no traffic was bliss! The views of sunsets in the evening were amazing.
