Welcome to our lovely villa in the sun. It is very private but not isolated. Country lane, no dusty tracks to get here. We do have nice neighbours but non that overlook the garden or the terraces. It's ok to skinny dip! Beautiful solar heated pool with BBQ area all very private. Night swimming with the stars above & the water lit around you is a must do. 2 double air conditioned bedrooms one with en-suite. Large fully equiped modern kitchen, dining area leading onto lower veranda which is comfortably furnished for outdoor living & eating with lovely wooden sun blinds to create a dappled shade. The lounge is on the upper floor with air-conditioning to make your stay even more comfortable. Lounge has its own roof terrace overlooking the countryside to the sea in the distance, perfect for stargazing with a nightcap. Country walks, no need to get the car out. This is our home and we hope you will enjoy your summer vacation.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible to allow you to take advantage of cheaper flights. We run a very simple booking system. 2 extra weeks released for Sept available now.

| Living Rooms: | The lounge is comfortably furnished with air-conditioning unit and soft table lighting. Wide screen colour TV with English free view TV, DVD and radio/CD. Dining area indoors or out looking out onto the garden & pool. Pool temp 24/26c by May. |
| Other: | Upper terrace with telescope for star gazing. Lower terrace comfortably furnished with soft furnishings & a large marble dining table and chairs for alfresco dining. The pool is all one level ( no deep end) this is great for not so confident swimmers. |

We have local management, weekly cleaning and linen change and pool side towels provided. Pool maintenance. There will be a welcome food pack for your arrival. |

Notes on accommodation
Not suitable for youngsters under 16 years of age. 2 bedrooms with double beds only. Perfect for professional couples looking for somewhere special to relax and unwind. Perfect villa for that special anniversary or to just have time to yourselves to reconnect. It is so private and can be so romantic with a huge summer moon and a million stars. The moon is so bright you can go for a moonlit walk and see it cast your shadow. Night swimming in your own private pool is a luxury. Due to cancellations through ill health, there are still 3 weeks available 1st wk of Aug & 1st 2 weeks Sept

Outside
Large private gardens with mature carob trees. Very private illuminated and heated swimming pool, with soft wooden decking and BBQ area. Lower terrace with comfortable outdoor furnishings for outdoor living. Upper terrace has wonderful big sky and views by day and by night. Telescope for star gazing on the upper terrace.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is a short drive to Fuzeta where a regular ferry will take you to the sandy beach the ride is a very pleasurable way to reach the beach and is cheap. There are many more beaches to find, explore and enjoy.
Golf
There are many golf courses nearby to choose from and with online booking now available so you can choose your tee time, book and pay from home.
Nearest courses are Maragota a nice little 9 hole, Quinta do Adolfo a nice little learning 4 hole with a driving range and putting green, both just a short drive away or further east towards Spain, Benamor, Quinta do Ria and its sister course Quinta da Cima near Conceiçao do Tavira, plus many more courses to choose from.
Travel
Easyjet to Faro frm Belfast, Bristol, East Midlands, Glasgow, Liverpool, Gatwick, Luton, Stanstead, Newcastle. Car hire is recommended but only 30 min from Faro to door. Ryanair to Faro from Bournemouth, Bristol, Leeds, Stanstead. Flybe all fly to Faro. 1st 2 weeks of Sept available!!!
Distances
Sta Catarina is 5 minutes car drive. For the flavour of a working town go to Sao Bras do Alportel with its many restaurants and the famous Luis de Frango restaurant on the way in to the town. The best atmospheric market with it's locally caught fresh fish and bright mostly organic fruit and veg stalls then it has to be Olhao on a Saturday morning.

We are very central for shopping, golf courses and Tavira, which is considered to be the jewel in the crown of the Eastern Algarve with its unique Tavira style roofs and many churches. Spain is just an hours drive away for a complete change of culture. £50 non-returnable deposit per person on booking with the remainder paid 8 weeks before arrival. Prices includes all utilities/air-conditioning. Prices are per week.
