Casa do Eido was originally a small farm house built in the beginning of the 20th century. It was then restored and extended with the care of maintaining its original stone. It is located in a rural area 8 kms from Ponte de Lima, an old Roman small town, mostly surrounded by the wine culture which predominates in the region but also by some subsistence agriculture from pasture to corn cultivation.

Bedroom 5 attic bedroom with double bed.
Bathrooms: Bathrooms 3 / 2 with bath, one is a bathroom with jacuzzi, 1 Shower Room On the ground floor.
Kitchen: A modern fully equipped kitchen which includes 4 electric rings, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and system for gas. There is a French window with stairs giving on to the swimming pool.
Utility Room: On the ground floor, there is an ample lounge for entertainment with table for up to 5 persons, Table Tennis and darts. It has access to the exterior.
Living Rooms: Lounge with fireplace, satellite TV, DVD player, Hi-fi and a table seating up to 6 persons.
Other: From the corridor, there are stairs giving direct access to an attic bedroom which has a double bed and also a computer with games. This room is not suitable for children due to the stairs. Separate bathroom.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
One cleaning per week, house linen, towels and linen are included.

Notes on accommodation
In the garden there is a playground that children will certainly appreciate.

Outside
The swimming pool is 9.5 x 4.5 meters with a depth varying from 1.3 to 2 metres (private pool), a great garden to play. Barbecue with outdoor furniture.

Coast beach at Viana do Castelo, 35km.

Golf
Golf course 6 miles of distance, Ponte de Lima Goulf Course.

Travel
Porto Airport 80km / 60 minutes motorway. Car hire in Ponte de Lima 6km.

Distances
There is a minimarket at 500 metres. The nearest restaurant is in Refoios 4kms and you may find many restaurants with Portuguese specialities in Ponte de Lima which is 6km away. Viana do Castelo the head town of the region is located 25 minutes driving and there is now a highway on which you can reach Braga in 30 minutes, or Porto in 60 minutes.

Located 8kms from Ponte de Lima, between Ponte de Lima and Arcos de Valdevez, in a excellent tourist region of manor houses.

Booking notes
A refundable damage deposit of 500 euros would be necessary. This deposit should be paid with the balance and will be returned at the end of the stay. Booking conditions: 30% reservation. Balance should be payed 60 days before arrival.
