Ideal for families and couples this is a large corner, ground floor Apartment situated in a small private condominium of just 20 apartments. Set around a communal swimming pool with beautiful landscaped gardens, in a peaceful location yet near to Carvoeiro with its beach, bars and restaurants only a few minutes drive away. The small village of Sesmarias with a mini market, bars and restaurants is a ten minutes walk. The large Intermarché supermarket is a short drive away. From the lower terrace you have an open outlook towards the large shared swimming pool with separate children’s pool and poolside shower. The roof terrace has a built in BBQ and has fine sea views.

Notes on prices
Prices are per week for the accommodation, for up to four people + 1 infant, and are inclusive of air conditioning, electricity, bed linen, towels (not for beach or pool use) and maid service once a week. Sofa bed available for 5th person for additional £50 per week.

Changeover day
Changeover day is negotiable depending on exisiting bookings.

Accommodation

 

Notes on accommodation
Furnishing is to a high standard including A/C, heating and a fireplace with fitted woodburner making it ideal for year round occupation. Whilst we do not permit smoking within the accommodation, ash trays are provided for use on the terraces.

Outside
Patio doors lead out from the lounge area to the covered terrace, furnished with dining table and chairs from which there is access to the pool area and gardens. Access to the private roof terrace is by way of the stairs next to the entrance door at the side of the building. There is a built in BBQ, table and four chairs, four sun loungers with cushions and a parasol and base. (In high season the sun loungers may be stored on the lower terrace for easier access to the pool area). Additional small sitting area next to entrance door which is ideal for catching the morning sun!

Coast/Beach
The apartment is only a few mins drive from all of the lovely beaches around Carvoeiro. For those who like walking there are some lovely cliff top walks nearby.

Golf
The area has a wealth of excellent golf courses the nearest being Gramacho and Pinta, a few mins drive away, at the Pestana Complex. Vale de Milho is less than 15 mins away by car.

Pestana - There are 2 x 18-hole courses on this complex. At Gramacho there is an excellent clubhouse which serves meals, snacks and drinks. There is also a small swimming pool. The new clubhouse for the Pinta course is now open. David Leadbetter Golf Academy and driving range is also on the complex.

Vale de Milho - This is a 9-hole course which is ideal for short game practice and beginners. There is also a clubhouse serving snacks and drinks.

Travel
Our apartment is only 40 minutes drive from Faro airport. Whilst most facilities are within 10 to 20 minutes walking distance car hire is recommended for exploring further afield.

Distances
The small village of Sesmarias with a mini market, bars and restaurants is a ten minutes walk. Carvoeiro, which can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes (or a few minutes by car), caters for most holiday needs including a tourist information office, banks, pharmacy, restaurants and bars and is a pretty fishing village with its own beach from which small boats can be taken to visit the other beaches in the area.

Further details
We are perfectly situated right next door to the Carvoeiro Clube de Tenis. There are twelve tennis courts, fitness centre, mini-golf, table-tennis, pool/billiard table, childrens playground and swimming pool. There is also a diving school. Other facilities include Beauty Salon, Hairdresser, Physiotherapist. There is a bar and restaurant serving breakfast and lunch.

Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of £150 per week is required at the time of booking, the balance being payable eight weeks prior to arrival. If the arrival date is within eight weeks of booking then full payment should accompany the booking form. Guests should make sure that they have made adequate provision for insurance cover in the event of cancellation or loss of belongings.

'We visited this fantastic apartment in June 09. It was beautiful and everything was exactly as promised. The facilities were everything that you needed if not more and it was not just the usual place to sleep but felt like a home for the two weeks we were there. The maid visited once a week and was lovely, she left the house spotless. Carvoeiro is a beautiful village with plenty of restaurants, although we did eat in several times.
