Villa Do Altinho is nestled in the Algarvian countryside just a 10 minute walk from the beautiful Albandeira beach. Although situated in a very tranquil part of the countryside the apartments are ideally located for those wishing to explore the Algarve. Albandeira Beach and Marinha Beach, two of the most beautiful beaches on the Algarve are within walking distance of the apartments. The apartments are conveniently located just 6km from the small fishing village of Carvoeiro, within easy reach of the towns of Portimao and Silves and the bustling town of Lagos further along the coast.

Notes on prices
Prices shown are for the apartments per week in Euros. Early Bird: April & May normal rate 470 euros per week. Book before the 29th February for a rate of 400 euros per week. Summer Special: June, July and August - book two weeks before the 29th February and enjoy a 10% discount off normal rate.
Changeover day
Changeover day is normally Saturday but this is flexible depending on clients requirements.

| Bedrooms: | Bedrooms have the capacity to be double or single rooms with either king-sized double bed or twin beds. |
| Bathrooms: | Bathroom is en-suite, with bath/shower, wc, bidet. |
| Kitchen: | Kitchen includes all standard equipment, hob, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, iron, microwave. Washing machine is in a shared facility. |
| Living Rooms: | Living rooms are open plan, with double couch, breakfast bar with dining table. Also contains satellite TV with SKY and BBC stations, DVD and CD player. |

| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
All linen and towels are included. Linen is changed once a week and towels are changed twice a week. Maid service is weekly but can be changed if required . |
Notes on accommodation
All rooms use electric heating and fans are supplied for summer months. The apartments are set up for adults (no children under 16 years) only at the moment and a car is essential. All apartments have terraces and terrace furniture.

Outside
Set against the backdrop of the Atlantic ocean the Apartments have been constructed on an incline to take full advantage of the stunning views of the ocean and the surrounding countryside. They are surrounded by mature gardens which give both shade and shelter during the long summer days.
Whilst all of the apartments have terraces there is also a communal BBQ and pool area (pool measures approx 11mtr x 6mtrs)where you can sip your cocktails and watch the sun go down while your dinner cooks.
The pool area offers sun loungers, tables and sunshades to allow you to while away those hot summer days in comfort.
From the end of the garden the secluded Albandeira beach is just 10 minutes walk away. This is one of the most picturescue beaches surrounded as it is by magnificent cliffs. It is a natural suntrap for those of you wishing to top up that tan. You can also refresh yourself at the beach cafe with a coffee or perhaps something stronger!!
Coast/Beach
Just 10 minutes walk from the end of the gardens is the secluded Albandeira beach. This is a beautiful cove which is a natural suntrap being surrounded by cliffs and is very safe for bathing. Just 5 minutes drive away is the Marinha beach another of the Algarves most picturescue beaches. There are of course many more smaller coves to discover all within easy reach.
Golf
Being located in the Central/West Algarve there are any number of Golf courses within easy reach. Closest to us are the two 18 hole courses in Pestana just 10 minutes drive from us. They are the Pestana and Gramacho courses. Just 15 minutes drive you have the magnificent Palmares and a little further the newer course of Boavista to name but a few.
Special interest holidays
Birdwatching in the area is interesting and fishing is available along the coast close the the apartments.
Travel
We are located just 40km west of Faro International Airport and it takes just 40 mins along the new A22 motorway to reach us. A car is essential and rates can be quoted locally if required.
Distances
We are located just 10km from the fishing village of Carvoeiro and just 6km from the town of Lagoa. The holiday center of Portimao is just 13km away and Lagos is a futher 10 km down the coast. We are ideally located for anyone wishing to explore the Algarve West or East.
Further details
Ther are any number of restaurants within easy reach. Right on our doorstep we have a small cafe on Albandeira beach. Another excellent restaurant is Brasserie Marinha just about 1km away, and another very good restaurant is located in Quinta Rosal 2km away. If you get bored lying in the sun you can visit Zoo Marine an ocean theme park or experience the thrills of Slide and Splash, a water park. Close to us is the historic Moorish town of Silves with its magnificent castle. You can visit the Monchique hills and experience the Spa. You can also visit Capo San Vincente the most westerly point of Europe and visit the site of Henry The Navigators School of Navigation. Just a few of the many things to visit and enjoy.

The apartments are available for rent between January and December each year.
Deposit of 25% is requested at time of booking with balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
