Changeover day
Changeover day is in general flexible, although Thursdays and Saturdays are preferable.

| Bathrooms: | Separate large luxury bathroom with bath & shower fittings, toilet and single basin with heated towel rail. |
| Kitchen: | Kitchenette/diner comprising wall & floor kitchen units w/ granite worktop, fitted small fridge/freezer, microwave and electric ceramic hot plate for self catering if required. |
| Living Rooms: | Sitting area with settee, that can be turned into a comfortable double bed, and access to balcony overlooking the pool with space for outside eating. Satellite TV. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
A daily maid service is included (cleaning and making beds) except on Saturdays and Sundays. Laundry/ironing extra service can be provided on request with an additional cost (bed & bath linen not applied). |

Suitable for children, however in no circunstance children should be without adult supervision in all outside areas, specialy by the pool area.

Coast/Beach
EU Blue flag rated, beautiful sheltered sandy Luz beach is at your doorstep. There are 2 water sports centres, snorkeling and scubadiving facilities available on the beach if you enjoy a more radical experience.
Golf
The new Boavista Golf Club is only a 3km drive away. Palmares in Lagos is 9km and you are at less than 30' drive from a wide number of renamed and much praised golf courses such as Penina, Alto Club, Parque da Floresta, Pinta, Gramacho, etc.
Special interest holidays
At special times of the year we can accommodate in this small resort groups of guests for any special activities/workshops.
Travel
Faro international airport is at about 1 hour driving distance.
The use of a car is not essential but sometimes useful.
There is a regular bus service from Luz village to all surrounding villages and Lagos. Tikets cost 1 eur.
Taxis are affordable. There is a taxi point by the Church square. Car hire or taxi transfer service from and to the airport can be arranged on request.
Distances
The closest town is Lagos, 6km East, famous for its historical interest, its new Marina and night life. With the new motorway most villages/towns and places of interest in the Algarve are of easy and swift access.
Further details
Nowadays Luz offers a wide range of shops, supermarkets, coffe shops and restaurants (Portuguese and International).
3 Banks are also available working from 8.00am to 3.00pm and with ATM cash machines 24h a day.
On the first Saturday of each month there is a local market in Lagos (near the McDonald's rest) where you can find real bargains.
Booking notes
25% deposit is required to secure reservation. Balance due 6 weeks before arrival. For bookings made within 6 weeks prior to arrival a full payment is required.
