Bom Velho de Cima is a small, sleepy village built on a hillside, 4km south of the bustling town of Condeixa a Nova, and 12km south of the historic university city of Coimbra. It is well situated for numerous interesting excursions to ancient towns, and half an hour from the beautiful beaches of the Silver Coast and the seaside resort of Figuera da Foz. There is a new open-air swimming pool in Condeixa. This new 4 bedroom villa has been furnished by the owners for their own use and has every facility. The views from the rooms and balconies around the house are magnificent.

Changeover day is flexible although Saturday to Saturday is preferred.

Outside
There is a barbecue area on a terraced patio with adequate table and chairs. There is a large sunny patio outside the kitchen. There is a full size table tennis table (under cover) and snooker table (slate bedded) in garage.
Coast/Beach
30 minutes drive to Figuera da Foz the main resort on the Silver Coast.
Golf
There is a driving range and pitch and putt in Coimbra (10km) and a golf course in Viseu (40km).
Travel
The airports are midway between Lisbon and Oporto (2 hours drive to each).
Car hire is essential.
Distances
Approximately 10km from Coimbra - a large university city with good shopping facilities and famous Roman remains. Conimbriga is a nearby attraction with Roman remains and mosaic pavements.
Further details
Fresh bread can be delivered daily, and the greengrocer and fish van call weekly. The local shop is 1.5km away in Alcabideque. There are numerous local restaurants, very reasonably priced. The owners recommend the 2 Churesqueras in Condeixa for take-away food.
The owner's daughter lives 3km away and will be happy to advise visitors about local facilities and attractions.
