Casa Pequena is situated in Montinhos da Luz, less than 2km from the sandy beach, shops and restaurants of Praia da Luz. The sleepy fishing village of Burgau, which falls within a protected national park, is only 2km away.
The accommodation is on one level comprising of a spacious lounge, with satellite TV, which leads on to the terrace with sea views. A well equipped modern kitchen with all amenities. The master bedroom has twin beds with en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has 1 double and 1 single bed, with Bedroom 3 having twin beds. These bedrooms share 2 further bathrooms. All bedrooms have doors onto the terrace and air conditioning. Bedroom 2 has a safe fitted into the wardrobe. Outside there is a number of sun terraces, a large private pool and a jacuzzi that accommodates 6. The villa is on a large plot of land, with landscaped gardens surrounding the sun terraces.

Changeover day
The changeover day is Saturday, but this is flexible. Access into the villa is 3pm and needs to be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

Notes on accommodation
The villa is suitable for children of all ages, the pool area and terraces are all protected by lockable ornamental gates. Not suitable for wheelchair access.
Outside
The pool is completely private and for the use of the occupants only. Measuring 24 feet long by 12 feet wide, 3 feet at the shallow end, 7 feet at the deep end. Entry into the pool by steps at one end. Large jacuzzi next to the pool makes a great place to relax! (easily fits 6 adults). There are a number of terraces surrounding the villa that receive the sun nearly all day. A covered BBQ area which has a traditional Portugase BBQ built, provides a fantastic spot to spend an evening. All bedrooms lead onto a terrace that overlooks the pool, gardens and across the valley to the sea.
Coast/Beach
The area has numerous beaches, most of them small safe sandy bays, often with a village attached and backed by cliffs. In addition to the safe sandy clean beaches at Luz & Burgau, Meia Praia is a large exposed white sand beach in Lagos with sandy dunes. Water ski-ing, windsurfing and boardsailing are available at all three beaches.
Burgau and Luz can be reached in 5 mins by car, Luz beach can be walked and takes about 15 mins.
Golf
Casa Pequena is situated within close distant to a number of golf courses, the nearest of which is Boavista - about 8 minutes drive.
Boavista Golf Club offers superb facilities in a uniquely sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere . This impressive 18 Hole Championship golf course was designed by Howard Swan MScWith two distinctive sections the course offers a variety of holes commencing with the welcoming first hole, a meandering downhill par 4, bordered by beautiful sub-tropical landscaping leading to harmoniously designed properties.
The signature hole on the outward nine is the stunning par 4, 7th hole set against a glorious backdrop of the Atlantic ocean with exhilarating panoramic views extending from Praia da Luz round to with the hills at Monchique creating a spectacular backdrop.
10 minutes in the opposite direction is the superb golf complex of Parque da Floresta, a truly fantastic golf experience and home to many celebrities.
Travel
The nearest airport is Faro and is about 1 hours drive from the villa, use of a car is essential.
Distances
The fishing villages of Luz and Burgau are 5 minutes drive from the villa, the bustling fishing and market town of Lagos is 10 minutes drive from the villa. Shopping - the narrow streets have many tiny shops and the town has a market. The modern marina offers boat trips to the natural tunnels, arches & grottoes – well worth the trip, or a days sea fishing. At night a large selection of 46 bars offer an evening for everyone ranging from Jazz to Karaoke. The main square has a nightclub.

Luz has numerous restaurants to choose from and a number of supermarkets that offer a wide variety of choice.
Lagos is a superb night out and provides the buzz of the area. A number of bars, clubs and restaurants reside in Lagos which provides variety every night of the week.

Upon booking £200 per week deposit is required, with full payment needed 4 weeks prior to departure.
