Our luxurious air conditioned villa complete with spa bath and private pool commands an elevated position with stunning panoramic views overlooking Tavira, Atlantic Ocean and the beautiful rural Algarve to the East and West. Large terraces on all levels surround the accommodation which comprises of 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms (3 ensuite). We can provide for between 6 to 10 persons. Fully fitted kitchen, separate dining room and spacious lounge leading to a large pool/al-fresco dining area with built-in BBQ. We have just completed a Professional Putting Green on the lower terrace, putters and balls provided. An easy 10 minute drive to Tavira, the Golf courses of Benamor, Quinta de Cima and Quinta de Ria are within 15 minutes and Spain is less than half an hour away.

| Bedrooms: | 1st floor with 2 master bedrooms with super king size beds or two divans. Ground floor with bedroom 3 with super king size bed or 2 divans. Bedroom 4 has a super king size bed. Bedroom 5, 2 divans. Please let us know your requirements before arrival. |
| Bathrooms: | For the Master bedrooms, full ensuite bathrooms with seperate showers. Bedroom 3 with Shower ensuite. Bedroom 4 and Annexe with private facilities. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen has a Fridge Freezer, Dishwasher, Microwave, electric cooker with Halogen hob and rotisserie in the oven, toaster, kettle, lots of cutlery and cups, glasses etc, and a large selection of cooking utensils, sufficient to prepare a dinner party. |
| Living Rooms: | The lounge has a 21" Colour TV, with SKY/Digital connection, video library and portable CD/Tape player, very comfortable 3 seater settee and 2 armchairs with a nest of three tables for coffee cups etc situated around a log fire. |
| Other: | Separate downstairs wc/cloakroom. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Fresh linen and towels changed on Saturdays. The pool is cleaned and water tested twice a week, please bring your own beach towels. Ian and Samantha, our managers are very helpful, they know the best places to visit and are only to happy to help you. |
Notes on accommodation
Satellite TV is provided in the main lounge and downstairs lounge (BBC and ITV). Both master bedrooms (BBC only). The villa has timed air conditioning, included in the price and is located in the kitchen, dining room, lounge and the 2 master bedrooms, the other bedrooms have ceiling fans.
The spa bath is next to the pool and easily seats 6. It is also timed and again is included in the price. The villa is particularly suitable for children as the grounds are well away from the main road and the terraces are extremely spacious and safe.

Outside
The private pool is 10m x 5m with Roman head and steps for easy access to the shallow end (5ft) gently sloping down to the deep end (8ft) and or the late night dip there is underwater lighting. There is ample poolside furniture inclusive of sunlougers, parasols and comfortable chairs under the terrace for alfresco dining from the traditional built-in BBQ for the men to provide the cuisine! There is also a mobile BBQ on the lower terrace.
Coast/Beach
Within 15 minutes you can find the wonderful beach island of Tavira which is considered one of the best in the Algarve, it can be reached via a regular ferry boat and is sandy and safe for children.
For painters, photographers, and bird watchers, the Rio Formosa Nature Reserve (12km) is rich in bird and plant life... an opportunity not to be missed. Water taxi and small boat trips are plentiful.
Golf
Not only has the Algarve the best golfing climate in Europe it also has some of the best courses and facilities.
To the West, Benamor, Quinta de Cima and the Quinta de Ria are within 25 minutes, Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo courses are within 45 minutes of the villa and Vilamoura a further 15 minutes further on.
To the East, Castro Marim is only 15 minutes away.
Travel
Faro airport - 45 mins. Car hire is essential.
Distances
Within 7 miles, Tavira offers a great range of shops and supermarkets (Pingo Doce, Lidle), bars/restaurants abound many specialising in seafood. The beautiful river Gilão runs through the centre of town and on those warm summer nights public entertainment can be found in the park by the riverside.
Further details
Many lovely and interesting walks radiate from the villa including the one to Santa Maria Monastery and another to the deserted village of Zimbral and which meander through small fertile valleys and over hill peaks offering stupendous views, however there is little shade and a hat and water bottle are essential equipment. A delightful tavern 'The Belavista' is to be found around 2 Km’s down the road to Tavira and a small well stocked shop can be found a further 200 Km’s further.
Booking notes
A deposit of 25% is required on booking with the balance due 8 weeks before departure. A breakages deposit of £200 (payable with your balance) is required and totally refundable at the end of your holiday.
