The above rental rates include air conditioning, electricity and water(May - October). Please note that in winter season (Nov - Apr) a supplement is charged. Short Breaks/Weekend Rates: please enquire. If you are booking late and we still have availability we may be able to offer a late booking discount, especially during low season.
Changeover day
Saturday is the usual changeover day however some flexibililty is possible out of the main season. Shortbreaks/weekend breaks may be available between the end of October and end of March.

Notes on accommodation
A villa ideal for small groups or families, La Bastide offers two Master bedroom suites with ensuite bathrooms making it particularly suitable for sharing. Safe is provided for your convenience. Children are very welcome.
Outside
The sunny private swimming pool (8 x4 metres approx) and terrace have an adjacent WC & Washbasin and an outdoor shower for your convenience. 8 chairs/sunloungers and umbrella provided. The garden is private and very pretty with lots of shrubs and flowers. BBQ area with large table & 8 chairs, under pretty wooden loggia. Another small table and 2 chairs available on large private master bedroom terrace.
There are several terraces and balconies, including a large balcony to the front of the villa giving views over Vilamoura. There is ample room for parking in the driveway.
Finally - impossible to convey in words or photos - is the quality of the air - scents of orange and lemon trees, jasmin... heavenly!
Coast/Beach
5 mins drive (4 km)to Vilamoura's two fantastic blue flag beaches 'Falesia' and 'Marina Beach' glorious clean sandy beaches.
Golf
Vilamoura is a 'Golfer's Paradise' with its 5 championship golf courses, the Vilamoura Golf Academy, and nearby Vila Sol. La Bastide is just around the corner from The Old Course and a short 5 min drive to the other courses: Pinhal, Laguna, Millenium, Victoria and Vila Sol.
A further 15 - 20 mins brings you to Val do Lobo, Quinta do Lago, San Lorenzo and Pinheiros Altos. They say that there are more than 40 courses within driving distance of Vilamoura. The Algarve is a most attractive choice for the golfer with around 3000 hours of sunshine a year and truly mild winters.
Travel
Faro airport is 20 mins drive away. While car hire is not essential, it is recommended. Bicycle hire is available locally.

Booking notes
We require a minimum booking deposit of 25% of the rental sum at the time of booking. The balance is due, together with a refundable damages deposit of £300, eight weeks before the proposed arrival date. You will receive directions to the villa and your arrival information approximately 2 weeks before your holiday.

‘We had an absolutely lovely holiday thank you very much. Your villa is fantastic, beautifully equipped and delightfully secluded. We found that it was perfectly placed for the guys to play golf (which they did for 5 days out of the 6) but left us girls peacefully sunbathing around the pool.
