Villa Serra Vista has 3 double bedrooms (each with en-suite facilities) and its own secluded pool (11.5m x 5.5m)with beautiful views towards the Monchique Mountains. It is a traditional villa located on the quiet, exclusive residential estate of Serra e Mar which is within easy reach of the nearest towns of Alvor (10 mins) and Lagos (15 mins). It is just 5 minutes from the renowned Penina Golf resort and 10 minutes away from the new and excellent Morgado golf course, and an easy drive of several others. All of the excellent facilities on the Central / Western Algarve are within easy reach of the villa with the extended motorway through to Lagos only a 5 minute drive from the property. The property has all of the facilities you would expect with satellite TV (including English channels), DVD player, and a fully equipped kitchen including washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. The availability of two large sofa beds in the lounge would enable further sleeping room if required.

Notes on accommodation
The property is built on a slight incline overlooking the Monchique mountains and as such does have a few steps. There are also a few steps down to the pool area.
Children or the elderly should be supervised / assisted when using these facilities and unfortunately the use of a wheelchair would be difficult without further assistance.

Outside
There are large terraced gardens, front and rear, which are fully stocked with almond and olive trees and also fruit trees including lemons, orange, fig and grapefruit.Large poolside sunbathing terrace and a covered dining terrace, both with mountain views. A barbecue area is also provided on the dining terrace area.
Coast/Beach
The property is approx 10 minutes by car from the fishing village of Alvor which has a long sandy beach. There are numerous other sandy beaches within easy reach of a short car journey.
Golf
Penina Championship course is a little over a mile away with other courses being easily reached ie. Morgado 10 mins., Palmares 20 mins, Alto Golf 10 mins. Suggestions can be made as to which courses to play.
Travel
Faro airport is only 45 minutes away from the villa along the new N125 motorway section.
Car hire is therefore essential to make use of all of the facilities available on the Algarve. We can suggest car hire companies if required.

Further details
There are several excellent local restaurants within a short drive of the property although a more exhaustive selection is available in Alvor, just a short drive from the villa.
A more extensive range of shops can be found in Portimao, a 10 min drive away.
Algarve Shopping is a large shopping centre, 25 mins drive away and also has ten pin bowling and cinemas including films in English.
Lisbon can be easily reached by fast rail link or by car in about 2.5 hours.

A 20% deposit will be required to reserve the property with the balance payable 8 weeks prior to the arrival date.
