The main house has 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Next to the house is an apartment in same style with another 2 en-suite, colourful bedrooms. The covered colonial terrace and the view of the garden with beautiful palm, orange, lemon and olive trees make this idyllic picture complete. It lies in a breathtaking valley in a rural environment about 12km from Silves and 5km from SB de Messines. Beaches and golf courses 20/30 minute drive away. All rooms are on same level and provided with central heating. The kitchen has all equipment you may need and lies next to a nice conservatory with fire place that is used as the dining room. A spacious lounge with sat. tv, DVD and stereo leads to the colonial terrace, set up for outdoor living and relaxing.

Changeover day
Friday is the changeover day in high and mid season, flexible in low season.

Notes on accommodation
In the garden there is a large double swing bed, suspended between 3 palm trees. The separate apartment has air-conditioning in each bedroom (extra costs). Please contact us for more details. We rent the apartment for party's above 8, unless special request.

Absolute stunning established garden with palm trees, orange groves, children's playground, private kidney shaped swimming pool (12m x 4m), surrounded by plenty of sun lounges, outside shower, beautiful shady area and a double swing bed hanging between tree mature palm trees in the nice lawn. The big covered terrace makes outdoor living ideal; nice places created to relax, dine and wine, read a book, look at the stars, enjoy the birds.... there is also big patio, covered with nice flowers and plants with BBQ, bar and big Moroccan table and chairs...
All in a stylish way, that makes you forget there is big, busy, outside world....
Coast/Beach
20 minutes to coast (Armacoa de Pera, Albufeira, Ferragudo). One of the most beautiful beaches of the Algarve is to be found in Armação de Pêra, about 20 minutes drive from your villa. Armação de Pêra used to be a fishermen’s village, and has grown into a Portuguese beach side town. However, you will still be able to find the fishermen on the “Praia dos pescadores” (Fishermen's Beach), where they repair their fishing nets, sitting in the sand next to their colourful, distinctive fish boats.
Golf
It's about 20 mins to the coast, ca. 40 mins to Lagos, Vilamoura... where most famous golf courses are Monchique, 20-30 mins drive away opened a beautiful 9 holes golf course. Near silves, 15 mins drive from our villa is a 18 hole golf course. So plenty to choose from.
Special interest holidays
Our villa lies in very beautiful, green, quiet area, so ideal for example yoga holidays, business 'working' holidays etc. If you like walking, from your doorstep you can start various nice hikes! Ideal!

Travel
Faro is the nearest airport, 45 minutes away. 2.5 hours to Sevilla and 2.5 hours to Lisbon. Car hire is essential.
Distances
5km to SB de Messines: a typically Portuguese market town where you will find much of the real Portuguese culture. Everything you need is there. 12km to Silves, a wonderful old city with a lot of history, a big variety of restaurants and bars. In Silves you find the best fish restaurant of the Algarve! Recommended trips to Monchique mountain range, West coast, Ferragudo, Tavira. As it is only 20 minutes to the coast, where you find water parks, zoo, cinema and shopping malls.
Further details
Silves has a huge supermarket called Modelo, open 7 days a week, from 9 till 10! It also has daily local markets where you can buy fresh fish and vegetables. Silves is well worth a visit due to castle and cathedral. Horse riding in the beautiful neighborhood, walking, mountain biking, sailing, water skiing is all close and very easy to organise. If you do not want to cook, and not wish to leave our villa, we can supply you a private cook! Enjoy your holiday!
