Coast/Beach
About 10 kms are magnificent beaches and coves. The Altantic coast in this area is a 'National Park and therefore devlopment along the coast is controlled. Cycling, diving, fishing, horse riding, mountain biking, sailing, surfing, swimming, walking and wind-surfing all available.
Golf
Four courses about one hour away; Palmares, Penina, Parque da Floresta, and Boa Vista.
Special interest holidays
Of special interest to surfers; excellent surfing beaches. Birdwatching in the area is also a speciality.
Riding stables close by. Magnificent unspoilt countryside.
Travel
Faro 1.5-3 hours away.
Lisbon 2.5 hours away.
Car hire is essential.
Distances
Odemira about 5kms away.
Zambujeira do Mer 12 kms.
Further details
Large supermarket only 2kms away.
