Located very close to the Costa Vincentina National Park but within 4 kms of the Odemira. Hence there are many restruants and supermarkets close by. A very calm and tranquil location but only one hour from the Algarve for day trips and activities such as golf. The surrounding sandy beaches (within 10 minutes) have fantastic opportunities for surfing and body boarding.
The location gives a real taste of Portugal being still mainly unspoilt and not heavily developed.
The villa is one of eight around a shared large swimming pool. Experience has shown that this can be a great holiday for a single family holiday or a mulit- family holiday by staying in several villas. Also there is a shared tennis court.
The villa is 110m2 with an external patio area including a Portuguese BBQ.
This location can be great for either a quiet time or an activity holiday; something for everyone.

Air conditioning is not required on the west coast of Portugal; there is a wood burning stove for evenings in the spring and autumn.

About 10 kms are magnificent beaches and coves. The Altantic coast in this area is a 'National Park and therefore development along the coast is controlled. Cycling, diving, fishing (sea, deepsea or freshwater), horse riding, mountain biking, sailing, surfing, swimming, walking and wind-surfing all available.
Golf
Four courses about one hour away; Palmares, Penina, Parque da Floresta, and Boa Vista.
Special interest holidays
Of special interest to surfers; excellent surfing beaches. Birdwatching in the area is also a speciality.
Riding stables close by. Magnificent unspoilt countryside.
Travel
Faro airport 1.5 hours away.
Lisbon airport 2.5 hours away.
Car hire is essential.
