A rustic traditional Portuguese town house located in central old town in private secluded, secure fenced grounds. Convenient 1/2 minute walk to the square, 3 minutes walk to Peneco (The Tunnel)/Fisherman's Beach. 2 bedroom house over two floors with sunny terraces on both. Access via a private gated footpath in its own secure fenced grounds with private entrance. Outside BBQ area, fully equipped kitchen, wireless internet, Meo cable TV with English speaking channels, washing machine, dishwasher. This is situated in a tranquil area, accessible only by foot, no traffic and no crowds, a fantastic place to be during the day if you are not on the beautiful beaches only a stroll away. This is a central Old Town Albufeira holiday house, the Old town is a lively place at night but it is far away from the all night clubs, due to the architecture of the town the sounds of the holiday makers carries on the air, this is for people who want lots of fun, sun, food and drink.

Notes on accommodation
A private footpath leads from the house to a wraught iron gate connecting to a shared footpath leading to the steps down into Albufeira Old Town Square 1 minute away or up to Cerro Malpique 10 minutes to the strip, near to the bars, shops, banks, restaurants, clubs and supermarkets. Parking is available at the top of the steps, ideal for unloading and loading luggage. This area is a lot quieter in terms of pedestrians, there is no traffic going past the houses. The houses are part of a small cluster of private residences, your security, enjoyment and privacy can be maximised. The daytime will be the quietest time as people are on the beach or eating out, at night time the music of performers will be heard and bar music which will ring on the night air till the small hours. This is the ideal spot for people who like day and night life. In the peak of the season the bars close at 3am/4am so you will hear music and frivolity up until this time. Suits familly or groups of people.
Accessibility
Located midway up the steps behind Sir Harry's Bar in the square, this is not suitable for persons with mobility needs or pushchairs. For arrival it is possible to get a taxi right to the top of the steps and walk down or to walk across the square and up the steps behind Sir Harry's bar.

Coast/Beach
300metres down the steps across the square down the tunnel or left at the square and right at Fisherman's Wharf/ Plaza - Praia dos Pescadores is the most beautiful beach along this stretch of the Algarve! Further down the coast Peneco beach and Inatel beach. The beaches are naturally clean due to the Atlantic ocean not dirty like the med.. Beach activities, swimming, jet ski, sea doo, paragliding cruises, kayaking, boat fishing, beach volleyball, beach foot volley, fireworks, concerts.etc
Golf
The nearest golf courses like the Old Course, Pinhal, Millennium and Victoria in Vilamoura and the Salgados Golf Course in Galé are within 15 minutes distance by car. All golf can be organised via the excursion offices.
Travel
A meet and greet service is provided for all house guests on arrival. There are many shuttle services from Faro airport so car hire is not necessary unless you plan to travel far. If you want to hire a car do it before you leave this way you will save on the airport transfer cost. Walking is easy as all the amenities you will need are local to you, bars, restaurants,. But you have the choice or catching buses or taxis or even bike hire. Of course there are also boat trips on the sea!

A meet and greet service is provided for all house guests on arrival by transfer or Taxi at Cerro Malpique, which is the road that overlooks the Old Town and Sea, very easy to get to. You will be led down the steps to the your holiday home and shown around, issued with keys.
