Changeover day
Flexible, although Thursdays and Saturdays are preferred.

Accommodation

Notes on accommodation
All bedrooms are located on ground floor with fitted wardropes and fans. A traditional marble spiral staircase is a feature of the villa. Cot and High-chair are available F.O.C. on request. All bedrooms feature a radio.

Outside
A 12m x 4m kidney shaped pool lies on the south side of the villa is surrounded by a large patio area with patio furniture/loungers and barbeque. The Villa is access via large lockable gates from the cul de sac road (serving 4 properties only). A high degree of privacy is assured (minimum plot of land 2000 sq.m.). The large gardens are laid mainly to grass with a small citrus/friut tree orchard at bottom. Tables and chairs abound throughout the garden. A Hammock is "Slung" under the trees at the bottom of the garden.
The Portable CD / Radio can be positioned to enable it to be listened to whilst in the pool area.

Coast/Beach
Many varied beaches lie within easy reach ranging from the vast expanse of Meia Praia to the smaller coves of Praia D Ana and Praia Da Luz. The legendary west coast surfing beaches lie 30 minutes drive to the west.

Golf
Four championship golf courses lie within close proximity of Lagos including the 'Boa Vista' course which is a mere 2 minutes drive across the valley.

Travel
Faro airport is 78 Km away and takes approximatey 45 minutes to drive on the motorway. Lisbon is approximately 3 hours drive whilst the Spanish border is just 1 1/2 hours away. Car hire, whilst not essential is highly recommended for ones convenience.

Distances
The historic town of Lagos with its golden church of Santo Antonio and tourist resort of Luz are both 4 Km away. The Monchique mountain range and ancient town of Silves are approximatey 40 Km distant, whilst Cape St Vincent and Sagres lie 30 Km to the west.

'Casa Jasmin' is a delightful, warm, friendly family villa sited on the southern slopes of the Funchal Ridge offering the privacy of a large garden combined with superb panoramic views stretching from Portimao in the east to Luz bay and the Atlantic ocean in the west.
The town of Lagos straddles the River Bensafrin on which the new Marina complex lies. Lagos is a lively, friendly town consisting of a maze of winding cobbled streets lined by a huge variety of restaurants, bars and shops offering something for everybody. Five supermarkets are dotted around the town, some of which offer ATM facilities.
The picturesque village of Luz is regarded as a small family orientated resort offering all the facilities one would expect to find in such a place.
