This four bedroom 'holiday beach villa' is a few paces from the Laguna Beach, whilst the main Atlantic beach is just 5 minutes walk. Accommodation includes 3 double bedrooms and one bunk bedroom plus two spacious bathrooms. The spacious lounge / dining / kitchen area has everything for 8 guests to enjoy this self catering, romantic island retreat! The front patio of the cottage is an extension to the living area with traditional Portuguese outside dining, built in b-b-q, and lots of shade to keep cool, even during the heat of day. Live island life like the locals!! The rear beach garden at the back of the villa is a sun trap with sun loungers. You won't find the locals out in the noon-day sun, but you are on holiday so enjoy every moment. If the sun gets too hot, nip down to the lagoon for a quick dip!!

Notes on accommodation
The spacious lounge/dining/kitchen area is triple aspect - onto front patio, rear sun garden and side. Comfy sofas and chairs provide space for 8, with a choice of dining inside or al fresco, like the locals. The outside patio is cool, shaded, and has a built in BBQ for those market bought fresh fish. We now have wifi so ask us for password! The beach garden is a perfect place to catch the sun, as are the 3 nearby beaches. There is also a two person kayak suitable for children and/or adults, plus safety vests. The Laguna Beach is just seconds away, and the tidal Laguna itself is perfect for children to explore and enjoy.

Location Information: Armona Island is in the heart of the Algarve. This barrier island is car free, with a scattering of holiday cottages and just enough bars and restaurants to enjoy the local Portuguese lifestyle. Armona is also part National Park, a pristine natural environment, with over 9 kilometres of beach. Nearby Olhao (10 minutes by Ferry) has more restaurants and clubs, a lovely marina, and a 'must see' local market on the waterfront. The Algarve is famous for watersports including swimming, waterskiing, snorklling, sailing, and generally 'messing around in boats'. The Olhao ferry terminal connects to the other local islands as well as Armona, or for a few euros more splash out on a Water Taxi. Surrounding Olhao and Faro are numerous golf courses, and for those who can prise themselves away from Armona the whole Algarve is there to be explored.
