Notes on accommodation
There is constant hot water.
Air conditioning is available in the master bedroom and lounge/dining area for a small additional charge.
The villa is on two floors with the master suite on the first floor. All other accommodation is on the ground floor with flat access to the terraces and pool and is therefore suitable for children.
Outside
The landscaped gardens are a particular feature of the villa and offer a high degree of privacy. There are sea views from part of the garden. There is a 10x5m pool. There is a large sun terrace around the pool with sun loungers for 6, large parasols are also provided. The covered terraces have seating and dining chairs for 6 people. There is a bar/barbeque house with gas BBQ. There is ample parking at the front of the villa within automatic gated driveway.
Coast/Beach
The sandy coved beach of Praia da Luz is 10/15 minute walk or 2/3 minute drive. Other nearby beaches include Burgau - 10 minute drive and Salema - 15 minute drive. The beaches of Lagos, Meia Pria and Praia Donna Ana can be reached by a short drive or bus ride. The west coast - 30 minutes by car has some of the most underdeveloped areas, sandy uncrowded beaches and is favorite area for windsurfing.
Golf
There are several golf courses within an easy drive, including Boavista - 5 minutes, Parque de Floresta - 10 minutes, Palmares - 15 minutes and Penina - 20 minutes.
Travel
Faro airport is around a one hour drive from Praia da Luz via the new motorway. There is a train service from Faro and Lisbon to Lagos and busses from Lagos to Luz. Lisbon is around a two and a half hour drive from Luz.
Distances
Praia da Luz is around 1.5km from the villa.
Probably the most attractive town on the Algarve, Lagos is around 5km. Lagos is a facinating old town with shops, good restaurants, a marina for boat hire or grotto trips and a lively family orientated ambience.
Further details
In Praia da Luz there are well stocked supermarkets with a good selection of fresh fruit and vegetables a bakery, meat counter and delicatessen. Also in the village are banks, shops, good restaurants, pharmacy, medical centre (Luzdoc), cycle and car hire facilities.
Booking notes
A 25% deposit is required to confirm a booking.
Payments can be made in either Pounds Sterling or Euros payable by cheque.
Payment of the oustanding balance is required 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday, together with a good housekeeping deposit of £250 which is refundable provided you have not damaged any of the contents of the property.
General breakages of glasses, crockery etc. excluded.
