A very comfortable and spacious family house, with a separate cottage, located in rural surroundings, approximately 5kms north west of Lagos. Built in 1997, both the main house and the cottage have recently been extensively refurbished. Large landscaped gardens, and exclusive use of the pebble stone pool, measuring 13.5m by 7.7m at the widest point. Very private yet only a few minutes drive from beaches, shops and restaurants, golf and tennis. Plenty of space for indoor and outdoor meals, including purpose built barbecue area. Gardens ideal for both sun and shade. Outdoor table tennis. The grounds are fenced, and the property is entered through electronically controlled gates. Maid service 3 times per week. Local English managing agent. In recent years the house, and grounds, have been the successful venue for numerous family holidays, adult getaways, professional photo shoots, and a wedding ceremony.

Notes on prices

Rates include maid service 3 times per week, and all gas, electricity and water charges. Pool / Beach towels are provided in addition to the household towels and linen. Everything is changed weekly. An optional welcome pack is available at supermarket cost, please ask for an order form.

The refundable damage deposit is £300.

Main House first floor - Master suite with very large double bedroom (450 x 650), south facing balcony, and en suite bathroom. Main House ground floor - 1 double with en suite shower room, 2 twins with shared shower room, 2 reception rooms, kitchen and utility. The kitchen, fridge and cooker have been replaced in 2011 See floor plan for detail of ground floor layout. Electric fans are supplied in all the main house bedrooms. Location Information: Cruz de Pedra is a small development of seven houses, which do not overlook each other. The setting is rural and private, but not isolated.The lively towns of Lagos, and Praia da Luz, are within a few minutes drive, with a wide selection of shops, bars, and restaurants to suit all budgets. There are several safe beaches within a 10 minute drive, and numerous other beaches as you travel west, and get further off the beaten track. A wide variety of watersports are available. There are 2 good supermarkets a few minutes drive from the property. Boavista Golf and Tennis Resort is less than 10 minutes away, and other courses are within easy reach (Palmares, Penina, Parque de Floresta).
