Villa Marie Alice is a beautiful modern but traditionally built family villa with heated swimming pool and air conditioning throughout. The property has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and is very well equipped. It is set in a tranquil rural location on a substantial 1.5 acre plot, offering privacy and seclusion, but not isolation. The villa has extensive outside living space, based around a large gazebo with BBQ looking out over the surrounding countryside. The nearby typically Portuguese village of Boliqueime offers a choice of restaurants, shops and cafes. Vilamoura with its lively marina, restaurants and golf courses is 10 minutes drive and the quiet local beaches are only 15 minutes away. With a heated swimming pool and air conditioning, the villa offers a very high specification throughout the season. Prices shown are for the property per week in UK pounds. A discount of 10% will be given for return bookings. If pool heating is required a supplement of £120, first week, £60 second week will apply.

Changeover day
Preferred changeover day is Thursday, but with some flexibility out of season.

Notes on accommodation
The large plot and heated swimming pool make the villa very suitable for families with children. The property also has a safe for cash and documents.

Outside
Large landscaped gardens with private heated swimming pool (10m x 4m), fountain and olive grove. Large gazebo with wooden dining table, fridge and BBQ. Second BBQ adjacent to kitchen. Good quantity of chairs and sunbeds. Car port for shade throughout the day.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is Praia da Falesia about 15 minutes drive away. This is a wide sandy beach with good facilites. There are other interesting beaches within easy reach.

Golf
There is a wide choice of golf courses within easy reach. Vilamoura, with it's four courses is 10 minutes drive. Vila Sol is 15 minutes away and the exclusive courses at Val do Lobo and Quinta do Lago are less than 30 minutes drive.

Travel
The nearest airport is Faro, an easy 30 minute drive along the motorway. Lisbon is a straightforward two hour drive by motorway. Car hire is recommended.

Distances
The nearest village is Boliquieme 1.5 km away. More extensive shopping and a food and crafts market can be found in Loule about 20 minutes drive. There is easy access to the N125 and the A22 motorway from which you can explore the Algarve. Within an hours drive to the west lies Lagos and the windswept Cap St Vincent and to the east the interesting town of Tavira and the Spanish border are also about an hour's drive.

Further details
The nearest mini-market, bank (ATM) and pharmacy are all in Boliquieme village, 1.5 km or 5 minutes drive. Or there is a short country walk into the village from the bottom of the garden.

Booking notes
A 20% deposit is required on booking which is non refundable. The balance is required 6 weeks before the holiday, together with a security deposit of £200 which is refundable 7 days after the end of the holiday.

"Where to begin- we had a wonderful holiday in which Villa Marie Alice played a large part. From its location to the layout and most comprehensive contents we could have asked for no more. The gazebo and BBQ provided a welcome respite from the sun from time to time and an alternative to dressing for restaurants every evening which we all enjoyed. The pool came into its own as you can imagine-the best holiday accommodation we have had in Europe/America.
