Just 45 minutes drive northwest of Lisbon airport to the coast in the Torres Vedras region. Relax in this wine producing and market gardening area with the opportunity to explore 6 world heritage sites within an hour, including Mafra Palace, the hill town of Obidos, Sintra complex with its royal palaces. The house, estate and hotel are set amongst the sand dunes which front the spectacular Seixo beach. A staircase of 50+ steps leads from the cliff edge down to the guarded beach.Locally within 5 minutes is the Santa Cruz surfing school, daily fish and produce market and historically the site where Nelson landed his troops to commence the peninsular war against Napoleon (as chronicled in the Sharpe novels by Bernard Cornwall) and an associated museum.

Many cookbooks and guidebooks in the house for use of guests during their stay.
Taxi service through the hotel, 65 Euros for 2, and 5 Euros for each additional person. Hire car can be organised through expedia from Lisbon airport or locally through the hotel.
At additional cost fruit, bread and vegetable can be ordered from the hotel on an overnight service and paid for separately.

50% deposit at time of booking. Balance payable 4 weeks prior to arrival.

Rentals run from arrival post 5pm to departure pre 1am.

All bedlinen and towels included (not pool towels).

We will not held liable for any loss or damage that occurs whilst you are staying at Villa Nora. We recommend you take out your own travel insurance for the trip.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We bought Villa Nora off-plan in 2007. We were attracted to the modern design of the property, its eco-credentials and the services of the on-site 5* hotel. We visit many times a year and particularly enjoy the beach walks, fine local restaurants and visiting the nearby World Heritage attractions. Our friends with younger children appreciate the wide range of family activities close to hand - especially the local surf school.

Unique benefits of the property
As the villa is glazed on three sides it enjoys wonderful light. We also like to just get up, have breakfast on the terrace and go for a stroll along the beach or cliff-top. At low tide we like to go for a dip in the sea.
