Our exclusive apartments at Vila Praia Dona Ana are located in the beautiful town of Lagos, within minutes from the famous Praia Dona Ana beach, the old historic town, superb restaurants and supermarkets. This 3-storey elegant complex catches your attention with beautifully manicured gardens, and swimming pool nestled within a walled terrace elevated from the roadside. Ideal setting for a family to enjoy both the adult and kids pool in a secure environment. Recently-built apartment has air-conditioning/heating, modern furnishings and appliances. Rooms are spacious, bright with large windows and electric blinds. Luxuriously decorated, providing a warm vacation ambiance. Relax and enjoy a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean in the distance, with its wonderful blend of turquoise colours. Sip on a glass of port or enjoy a tasty meal as you count the variety of boats floating by.

If our property is booked, we know many other owners so can still take your booking request.
Winter long stays are negotiable based on period and duration of stay.
Payments: Deposit Req'd; full balance payable 2 months prior to reservation start.

Spacious bedrooms, sleeps 4 with a potential to accommodate a 5th person via an extra fold-up bed.

Property Manager: We have a local property manager in Lagos, so you will have someone to personally meet you, to provide you with the key, and to answer any questions during your holiday period.

Your choice of 2 apartments, each with unique balconies, both have sea views as the entire complex is elevated a full floor above street level.
DA - 2 balconies:

+1 - Off kitchen with bistro table and 4 chairs, afternoon sun, courtyard view
DA2 - 1 enormous gated terrace with private steps to pool:
- Directly overlooking pool
- With 4 sun loungers, patio table and 8 chairs
- Living room, bedrooms and kitchen all open onto terrace providing sun for most of the day
- Lots of privacy and space for children to play
2 swimming pools: large adult-size and small for kids. Lots of lounging space and sunbeds surrounding the pool. In the summer time, you and your kids will enjoy mingling with other guests. Elegantly manicured gardens for an enjoyable stroll and for kids to run around. Parking in front of apartment.

Dona Ana beach: Beach coves surrounded by spectacular cliffs, breathtaking post-card views.
Porto de Mos beach: Long, wide-open expanse with crashing surf.
Praia do Camilo beach: Secluded with crystal waters and cliff formations.
Meia Praia beach: White sandy half-moon shape where you can walk for miles.
Golf
Boa Vista Golf Course: 5 minute drive west (stunning views of Lagos).
Palmares Golf Course: 10 minute drive east (near the ocean).
Parque da Floresta: 15 minute drive west (challenging ravine setting).
Penina: 20 minute drive east (choice of 3 courses, from beginners to championship).
Travel
Faro Airport: 80 km, 50 minutes away via new motorway.
Lisbon Airport: 300 km, 2.5 hours away via new motorway.
Car hire is not necessary but provides the opportunity to explore the surrounding areas.

Within a few minutes' walk: Restaurants and small grocers, old historic town walls of Lagos, grotto tours, cliff walks, internet cafes, fitness club, tennis. Large supermarkets just a 5 minute drive away. Our favourite day excursions (car necessary): Sagres/Cape St. Vincente, Aljezur Coast,
Monchique, Silves, Albufeira, Guadiana River, Spanish Border/Tavira.

We return to Lagos often to enjoy its beauty, breathe its sea air, and spend time with our many Portuguese friends. Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We visited Lagos in 1996 and our hearts melted. We were awestruck at the beauty of this town and the friendliness of the Lacobrigenses (the name given to the people of Lagos). Lagos is a unique little jewel in the Algarve. It has chosen to develop its tourism with taste and class. It offers a balance of the charm and history of the Portuguese culture with a blend of creature comforts and facilities to please the desires of the most discerning tourist. The warmth of Lagos and her people make it difficult to resist falling in love with this seaside town.
