Saturday is preferred but can be negotiable.

Notes on accommodation
All three bedrooms and the lounge/dining area have remote controlled air-condition/heating units. All windows have anti-mosquito screens.
Outside
The 1st floor lounge has two balconies and a sun terrace equipped with table and four chairs.
There is a large roof terrace with built-in barbecue and sink. Wooden table and six chairs for al-fresco dining plus six sunbeds.
Coast/Beach
This stretch of the Algarve enjoys long sandy beaches. Between Tavira (17km west) and Monte Gordo (7km east) there are five Blue Flag beaches. The magnificent soft sandy beach of Altura (Alagoa) is about 25 minutes walk (or 5 minutes drive) from the house. Car parking, beachside restaurants and bars.
Golf
There are six 18 hole golf courses and one 9 hole course all with superb views and challenging water hazards within 15 minutes drive: Castro Marim - par 72. Quinta do Vale - par 72, Quinta da Ria – par 72. Quinta de Cima – par 72. Benamor – par 71, Monte Rei - par 72 and Colina Verde - par 28.
Travel
A car is essential - we recommend that guests arrange this from Faro airport.
The airport is about 35 minutes drive. The house is within 4km of the A22 motorway and only 12km from the Spanish border.
The Spanish city of Seville is about one and a half hours drive.
The Algarve is a great place to cycle so if you want to explore the area at a gentle pace and really take in the scenery contact East Algarve Bike Hire.

Mini market and bars within 7 mins walk.
Wider selection of shops and restaurants within 15 mins walk.
Beach is just over 2km – 25 mins walk or 5 mins by car.
Further details
There are four water parks and two theme parks along the Algarve – all within one and a half hours drive.
Booking notes
A deposit of 50% is required on booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before departure. For bookings made less than 8 weeks before departure, 100% of the cost is required at time of booking. A breakage deposit of £200 is required with final payment. This is refunded within 2 weeks of the end of the stay. Directions are provided on receipt of final payment. Guests are met at the property on arrival and given the keys.
